Unpleasantly hot in the summer, even in early September! I was aware at time of booking that there is no AC, but I was not aware that the room doesn't have any windows that can open! On the plus side, the included breakfast was the best I had in over a week in Switzerland at four different properties.

Staff are plesant. Breakfasts were delicous. One of the owners checked in the mornings at breakfast to see how we were faring. Hotel is centrally located, has a fully equipped gym, has a wet/dry sauna amd gym classes. The only thing that I didn't like is lack of personally controlled ac or heat. But the personal touches provided by the hotel more than outweighs this.

We had a wonderful stay at the Eiger Mountain and Soul Resort. The hotel far exceded our expectstions. Service was exceptional, and our room was large and very comfortable. I highly recomend.

What an amazing experience, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. They made my stay personal, something that I do not get in other hotels. They have daily activities suggestion, breakfast, afternoon coffee and tea and gym classes are included in the booking. They also have a restaurant on site called Barry's that serve the best cheese fondue. The hotel also has a very nice location, 5 minute walk to Grindelwald station and also the gondola towards Mount First. I highly recommend the place to everyone. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to visit Grindelwald.

The Eiger Mountain and Soul resort did not disappoint. Pros: - The breakfast (included) was the best breakfast during our two week stay all over Switzerland -The one bedroom panoramic suite opened to a majestic view of the mountains -Melanie was the friendliest and most helpful person working the front desk. She was full of character, travel advice, and was there to greet us nearly every time we returned from our excursions. We really enjoyed the positive energy Melanie provided to our stay. Cons: -The surrounding restaraunts (and Coop) close early so be prepared

Great location in Grindelwald. Close to train station and bus station and on the main strip. The hotel was nice and the room was larger than many European rooms. The only downside was no AC when it was quite hot.

I cannot say enough about the property and the staff. Great service all around. Room was great with view of the mountains. They met our every need. Close to everything and having onsite parking was so helpful. The friendliness of the staff simply amazed me. The burgers from the in house restaurant were some of the best I have ever had. Would absolutely stay there again. The only thing I missed was having an AC in the room as this does appear to be a standard item in most hotels in Switzerland. The staff was able to find us an additional fan that helped us greatly during the slightly warmer than usual summer days.

Had a wonderful stay. The staff was lovely and super helpful. The location is right in the main area so it can get a bit noisy but overall was worth it. The views from the hotel balcony were stunning. The restaurant was amazing, the spa, all the amenities and perks they offered were top notch. Would definitely stay again.
