Not the best…or even close
We stayed one night, two nights away, then another at Baymont. The first room was on the first floor and seemed to have been a little remodeled, softer carpets, less distress, better linens. The second night was on the second floor and considerably more run down. The hallways smelled like marijuana. The free breakfast consisted of small cups of bad coffee, two kinds of cereal in dispensers. It was pitiful.

I usually don’t share reviews, but this hotel was awful. We will start with the front desk, the gentleman checking me in didn’t acknowledge me, till he finished his paperwork. I stood there by myself for a good two minutes till he stated, how can I help you. Elevator buttons had tape on them. Pool was disgusting. Smelled of bleach. Paint bubbling and chipping and rust dripping down the doors. Hot tub was out of commission as well. On to the room! Clearly they were trying to cover up a smell since a horrible smelling air freshener was plugged into the wall. When I removed the air freshener, the whole electric socket came out of the wall. The bathroom sink was falling off of the wall. There was a hole in the ceiling for the sprinkler system. The whole place looked run down and needs a major face lift! Would not stay here again!

Breakfast during the week was ‘cold’. Only consisted of apple juice, milk, hot coffee, and hot water as drinks. Two cereal choices and Oatmeal packets. Hot tub was out of service. Overall the facility was outdated. Restaurant/bar was closed.

We were out of the hotel most of the day and came back to a room that had not had service staff visit the room to provide new towels and remove our garbage. This was okay the first day but by the second day we wanted new towels for our third night of evening showers. I set the garbage can outside our door as we left the second morning. When we arrived back the can was in the room, no bag, and no new towels. My teens went to get new towels. The weirdest thing is the bathroom door does not swing into the bathroom as is normal, it swings out into the make-up counter area so the four of us were constantly moving so one could get into the bathroom or asking if all clear to not hurt someone if we were opening the door to leave the bathroom. Totally stupid, a constant irritation, and dangerous in the dark of night to not run into a door edge. So staff switch the bathroom doors between 113 and 115 for example.

There were some things that made our stay inconvenient. The fridge in the room froze everything, so I had to throw away the cold cuts and food I brought. And we had to leave our drinks out to defrost. The ice machine wasn’t working and the vending machine for snacks was empty.

Hotel was ok for a quick last minute stay definitely wouldn’t stay longer then a night or two the room wasn’t the most appealing looking and the bathroom definitely needs work done. The pool was not the greatest the pool area looked like it was falling apart
