A tranquil studio cottage for the ultimate getaway!

We are a privately owned property on 11 acres of beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland bush nestled in the heart of Guanaba.
A quiet retreat set on a family farm surrounded by nature yet still close to modern conveniences, "The Cottage" is the perfect getaway. It is a great base to explore the Scenic Rim food trail, with many local cafes, wineries and restaurants. The picturesque town of Canungra is only a 20min drive away. If you’re looking for adventure, we are just minutes away from all of the major theme parks like Movie World, Dreamworld, Wet n Wild, and Gold Coast Wake Park.

Little piece of paradise
The cabin is situated in a beautiful location in the GC Hinterland amongst other scenic properties. As well as the horses on the property we were lucky enough to be visited by wallabies and encountered a beautiful family of deer crossing the road. Owners are very friendly and property is secure and accomodating for pets.

Very nice room
We booked a room near Christmas, it was very clean, the room was very warm, the lighting was very beautiful at night, the indoor items were complete. Because it was too hot, the owner turned on the air conditioner for my dog and took him for a walk during the day. Thank you very much, I will recommend my friends to come and play.

Idyllic Tranquil Retreat
Cabin was beautifully set out with all amenities required, we were pleasantly surprised even fur babies were taken into consideration. Hosts Samantha and Jamie are lovely people and made us feel comfortable even as a one night stay. We will absolutely book again for a much longer stay. Highly recommend.

Relaxing Getaway
This is a lovely peaceful cottage, set amongst trees and overlooking the properties dam. There is no television or wifi which makes you really unwind away from the ‘busyness’ of life. Cottage is very comfortable and the bed is awesome!! Hosts of this property are very attentive to helping their guests have a relaxing break.

Cozy little retreat 30 mins from gold coast
Sam & Jamie and their place exceeded our expectations in every way, extremely responsive and helpful in every way. - The place was beautifully presented and impeccably clean. - One of the highlights was the cozy outdoor shed, adorned with fairy lights. Although it wasn’t featured in the listing photos, it quickly became our favorite spot. We loved cooking meals on the BBQ, relaxing with drinks, and curling up with a good book in such a warm, inviting space. - The outdoor amenities were fantastic, too! We had a great time gathering around the small fire pit, which came with plenty of firewood. It created a perfect atmosphere for evening chats and stargazing. - Our child had an absolute blast visiting the chicken coop to collect fresh eggs and meeting the friendly pony. It was such a delightful experience! - There's a lovely bush walk just behind the property that led us around a serene pond. It was the perfect way to connect with nature and unwind. This is a gem! We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with great amenities. Honestly, it was much better than staying at M*****n at Surfers Paradise. We can't wait to return next time we're there.

Wow what a beautiful property in a lovely setting. This well appointed cottage offers cosy luxury on on-farm. A real bonus is that it is pet friendly, with a securely fenced yard. The hosts were very welcoming. I just wish I could have stayed longer!

Absolutely Wonderful!!!
We had such a fantastic mini breakaway! Sam and her husband, Jamie were the most fantastic hosts who were warm and accommodating. Our cabin was cute and quaint with everything we could need for a short stay! The highlight of our trip was definitely our daughter being invited to feed the horses and chooks - she just loved this. We will most definitely be back and I have already recommended this to numerous friends
