A great introduction to the area

Lovely traditional french house
We enjoyed our stay in this traditional french house. We also enjoyed many evenings sitting on the patio or in the quirky bath chairs! The house was also lovely and cool inside even when it got really hot. The surrounding area was very beautiful and we felt that having bicycles was essential as the traffic was really bad at times. Gujan Mestras itself is a very quiet little town with only a few restaurants dedicated to serving Oysters but the bustling town of Arcachon was easily reached by train on bicycle. The Archachon basin is beautiful and lots of activities around. There was a nice beach about a 15 minute bike ride away but you can only swim when the tide is in.

Ein wunderbaren Haus etwas ab vom Tourismus
Das Haus ist wunderbar! Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und gemütlich. Die Küche ist eher klein, die Ausstattung äußerst gut. Der kleine Pool im Garten war für uns - wir waren zur Zeit der Hitzewelle da- die Rettung! Das Haus war äußerst sauber und der Empfang herzlich und persönlich. Mit Wein und Wasser aus der Region fühlten wir uns sehr willkommen. Für unsere Bedürfnisse war die Lage gut. Der Ort ist geprägt durch Austernfischer/-Zucht. Vor Ort kann man baden. Um zu schönen Stränden zu kommen, ist ein Auto erforderlich. Die Nähe zu Bordeaux haben wir genossen und genutzt. Danke!

Très jolie maison et propriétaires très accueillants
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison, qui a gardé le cachet d’époque mais avec une décoration moderne. Le propriétaire est très prévenant, nous avons eu un souci de chauffage et il a immédiatement été chercher des radiateurs d’appoints. L’essentiel de l’équipement pour venir avec des enfants est présent, c’est très pratique. La cuisine comprend qqs produits de base ce qui évite de tout racheter pour qqs jours. Nous reviendrons Merci

Location bien située et bien équipée
Nous avons passé une semaine en juillet dans cette maison à l'achitecture Arcachonnaise. La décoration est sympa, il y a un très bon et large équipement (largement de quoi cuisiner, linge de toilette, Internet, etc.), les extérieurs sont grands et jolie ments aménagés. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et extrêmement serviables (on n'a jamais eu autant d'équipement pour nourrisson notamment). Enfin la maison est située dans un quartier calme et proche de toutes les commodités. Le seul petit point d'amélioration serait un peu plus de rangements pratiques pour bien s'installer (placard libre dans la cuisine, étagère sdb, rangement vetements chambres) mais c'est vraiment un détail par rapport à tous les points positifs de cette location.

Nous avons passé un super sejour dans cette maison. Tout était adapté pour que nos 15 jours en famille se passent bien. Les hotes ont mis a disposition tout l'équipement de bebe pour notre fils de 2 mois et notre fille de 3 ans. La piscine est un vrai plus. La situation est idéale et calme.
