Seaglass Beach Cottage is quaint, comfortable and close to everything Gulf Shores has to offer. Enjoy the privacy of a cottage while still only a block from the beach. Walk to shops and restaurants. Popular spots including the Hangout, Gulf Place, souvenir shops, mini golf, ice cream, etc. only blocks away. This updated cottage offers 2 bedrooms - each with a queen bed, one full bathroom, a kitchen, living area, and large covered front deck. The kitchen is equipped with large and small appliances and kitchenware needed to prepare and serve a meal. There is a washer and dryer inside the property. Come ready for a relaxing vacation in Gulf Shores!

A great little house!
Overall, we were happy here and the owner's communication was wonderful. We had 2 adults and a 4-year-old child: the house was the perfect size for us. (It may not work as well for more people or multiple older kids) An easy walk to the beach. We loved sitting outside on the covered porch at the picnic table. We wish we could have made use of the outdoor shower but the area around it was flooded and there was no path to get there. (There was a lot of road construction too, so it was a bit messy and dusty outside--not at all in the control of the homeowners) I greatly appreciated that the owner reminded us that they only provide some starter things (a trash bag, a roll of toilet paper, some soap, a roll of paper towels)--so that we came prepared.

Amazing Beach Stay
This was a nice getaway trip in celebration of my daughter’s second birthday! Everything in the home was just as the pictures showed online. It was clean, in a quiet & safe location, and very convenient to the pool and other close by shops. Communication was very quick and precise with the property owner. I would like to stay here again and highly recommend!

This was the perfect proprty for us. It is a shory walk to beautiful white beach and tons of restaurants/ stores. Very clean and nice frint stoop to watch sunrise / sunset.

No communication, TV would not stream, Hot at night and cold during the day no matter what the air was on, construction all around that we weren’t informed about. It was clean enough but not excessive. Just okay stay!

The property was clean and very close to everything, beach, food, and activities. The host is very prompt should an issue arise-we noticed the dishwasher had a minor problem and messaged her and she had it fixed same day. I would recommend bringing some extra laundry supplies depending on length of stay, you get a starter pack but with a family of little ones we did laundry a bit more frequently

Overpriced for Experience
The cottage was in a decent location regarding proximity to the beach and main road to get in and out of Gulf Shores. The owner was very responsive to our request for having the bathroom sink unclogged and our request for dish soap to clean dishes that had stuck-on food/drink particles. Someone came the same day to fix the clog and deliver dish soap for scrubbing. There was a dirty sponge on the sink that I opted not to use. Sponges are inexpensive and each guest should have a brand new one to use for helping do their part to keep dishes clean. Putting my hands on and cleaning with a dirty sponge is undesirable. I felt like I needed to handwash every dish/utensil I used. This was disappointing. The flooring and bathroom appeared clean, which was a plus. I feel like this unit, based on the cleanliness and attention to detail, should have been priced significantly lower. Again, the owner responded to our requests and check-in was very easy. However, I would not stay at this cottage again.

Peaceful Cottage
Location was great, cottage was clean and comfortable. The only negative is that there were absolutely no extras. No dishrag to wash dishes (dishwasher pods, yes), no spices, cleaning supplies, or the other "extras" that we have found to be normal in all the other VRBO homes we've stayed in. Also, missed having a guest book to sign in and read what others have said. Overall, the stay was great and I would recommend to others.

Relaxing Getaway for the familu
This is our 3rd time to this area. We love it down here. The spot is perfectly close to everything, no matter which direction you are going. The place had the basics in the kitchen to make your own meals. Each time the property manager has always been quick and easy to reach when needed. We will be back again.

1st time @ Gulf Shores
The cottage was easy to find and close to the beach. It was clean and ready for our stay. The host communicated with us whenever we had a question. There was construction going on next door, but the crew didn't start work until 8am or so. Very thoughtful! It was a wonderful experience! We would HIGHLY recommend.

We love the area that this is located. It’s only a couple of minutes to walk to the beach. The house is very comfortable and has an excellent kitchen for preparing meals, nice TVs for entertainment and the internet worked without any issues. Super friendly hosts, an overall excelllent experience!

The little house was cleaned excellent. The 4 towels were, let’s say could have been a bit newer. 3 wash rags ( unit slept 4) Coffee pot needs cleaned desperately with vinegar! Otherwise was very simple no xtras.construction next door that wasn’t in the ad. They start work 7am. I asked if beach rented chairs & umbrellas, owner did not know!! They do till end of October ! I might go back in the future.

Beach getaway
Absolutely loved the being able to come and stay at this cozy beach getaway! It was wonderful, and absolutely enjoyable. Less than a mile from the beach, and in a fantastic spot around the local eats, entertainment, and shopping! We did have something to reach out to the owner about, but she was very quick to respond, and was very great to work with. Did notice there were quote a few scuffs on the wall between the bedrooms, and rust on the bath curtain. Outside of that, for the price it was an extremely nice place to stay! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a close spot to the beach!

Everything we hoped for!
The location is fantastic! The public beach access is a short and easy walk directly accords the road. The beach itself has chair and umbrella rentals readily available, as well as banana boat, parasailing, and jet ski rentals right at this public access point. There is a convenience store and surf style around the corner that carries groceries, beverages, beach supplies, and souvenirs. The road itself is low traffic and quiet. No fighting for parking at this rental, as there is plenty of space directly in front of the home. The layout of the rental is simple but perfect for what we needed. Everything was clean, upgraded, and stylish! All appliances worked as they should. Beds were comfortable. TVs were great quality. Check in and out process was so very easy. The host messaged instructions well in advanced and we did not have any troubles during our stay. I look forward to staying here again, thank you!
