" REMOTE & RUSTIC cottage in the bush on 41 acres. Access is via a 7km dirt rd.

The nearest amenities are in Sandy Hollow a servo and pub 15 mins away.

20 mins to Merriwa, 30 to Denman, 45 to Muswellbrook.

Enjoy the views of Mt Dangar, walk in the bush, climb the ridge for sunset views or just laze around watching native birds, kangaroos, goannas & wombats.

Head to the local pubs & take advantage of the courtesy bus back.

Room with double antique cast iron bed, has a ceiling fan and a heater for winter.

The house is open concept with a fireplace in the dining & sitting area.

Fully equipped modern kitchen it is well stocked with all cooking basics, oil, salt, pepper, baking paper, foil, cling wrap.

There is also an electric juicer, rice cooker, and banquet frypan.

Both bathrooms are detached from the house & accessed by a door & walkway straight of the sunroom.

When I dialed in for a work call from the dining table, my colleague said ‘wow are you in a castle’. It really was like a castle, we really enjoyed the sauna, plunge pool, sitting outside watching the wildlife. The house is really well equipped, well appointed, great comfy beds. We loved it. Great Place to relax
just had an overnight stay and loved it. bring in what you need and shut yourself off from the rest of the world. would be a great place to stay in the depths of winter with two lovely open fire places and probably the most comfy couch I have ever parked myself. we were lucky enough to have a little bit of rain overnight pattering away on the roof. We didn't take advantage of the sauna and plunge pool but we will next time. And yes there will be a next time and it will be a longer stay. Remember to bring everything you need with you, its not a simple excercise to just pop down to the shops. the host lives just out the back but you wont see her, you do have your privacy. Also be aware there is 7km of dirt track, even though the host provides second to none instructions how to find the property, if you arrive after dark, it will be difficult to find and beware of cows on the road before the main gate. drive slowly. To the host. I want to thank you for making this wonderful place available
