We were so disappointed with staying at the Marriott courtyard. The location was great but forget about friendly reception staff unless you happen to see Daniel. We noticed how so many guests arrived and not even a “Welcome” or on our check out “ Hope you enjoyed your stay”. I guess those days no longer exist? Everyone’s entry keys supposedly were demagnetized on the morning we were checking out. We were locked out of our room & couldn’t get in to get our luggage. We asked why the guests were not informed. Honestly I don’t think I will bother to stay with the courtyards again. I stayed in Baddeck at a lovely inn & you should see the toiletries given. The welcome greeting, and this is a small family spot compared to a large family spot!! Every morning we were blasted out of our sleep by the jackhammer outside our window. I know that’s not Marriott’s fault but show some compensation & friendliness!!! Very disappointing

Travelled with my daughter and this hotel was very well located. Short walking to the harbour and the main other streets full of restaurants. There is a paid parking self-serve and underground in the same facility which is very convenient! The beds were VERY comfortable!!!!! In terms of coffee or breakfast, they have a small “Starbucks wanna be” inside the hotel that do the work. But don’t book thinking you are going g to have a full option of breakfast For my next visit I will definitely stay back here!!!! Highly recommended I want to highlight the EXCEPTIONAL service provided by Jenny at the front desk. I love her energy and her attitude towards solving problems to customers while providing outstanding customer service. Kristin, thanks to you too for also doing your best to extend us for another night! Go girls!!!!!
