The hotel was clean and had everything we needed but our room was not ready at check in time and we waited quite sometime to get a room and then when we left to go out in the evening we waited for the elevator to come and when we got to our room our room key would not work so we had to go back down to guest services to get a new key. There was very little apologies for the inconveniences we had during our stay.

The good…very quiet in the room & good hot water. The bad…DUSTY everywhere even in the lobby, reservation was canceled even though it was verified 4 hours before & everywhere else was full so no other options, the bed was kinda lumpy & squeaky, staff we dealt with had very thick accents & were hard to understand, tv hard to navigate & no portal for Netflix. The meh…the sockets wouldn’t give enough wattage to charge a iPad…took 6 hours to get it to 33%. The location…super convenient for an event at Scotia Centre. AND…do not hand in your keys before getting your car from the parkade.

The hotel was clean, organized and the staff was nice. I wish they had been a little more helpful when we asked questions about the area. I also wish the beds didn't creak as much. It's a very nice touch to have breakfast included every day. I also likes that there was a 24-hour tea and coffee station.

The location was in heart of city and in walking distance to the waterfront and many tourist spots if you're able to walk for 15-30minutes and on some steep sidewalks. They had one day where internet/tv wasn't working. The gym is ok but has some old/broken equipment. The pool is ok but small. Breakfast was very good and lots of options. Many restaurants in walking distance. We did enjoy our stay in Halifax.
