Period cottage winner
We went just looking for accommodation in the area and liked the fifties style idea. Unexpected bonuses were the choice of period costumes to dress in for dinner at the end of a fantastic day exploring, with a huge LP selection to play on the period gramophone and a fantastic log burner all wood chopped and dry.

Cozy cute cottage
The nick nacks and curios were awesome. And the fact that the kids got to play with the old toys was a great plus. Loved the location (although road was a bit loud but sleepable thru) and the hosts were very friendly and generous. Thanks for a lovely stay.

A Cozy Getaway.
We were warmly welcomed by Kath. And she took us directly over to the cottage. Gave us a rundown with what was available in the property. Mentioned that she was readily available if we were in need of something. The hot tub was all geared up and running for our second night of our stay. Saw the natural countryside from the tub. A neat stay for a historical NZ experience. Thanks again to Kath and Dan.

Quirky cottage step back in time
This lil quirky cottage was a step back in time, and we loved it. Great base to do the West Coast Wilderness trail (Ross to Hokitika treetop walkway). Kids loved all the puzzles, games, dolls and dress-up. We loved the old style record player - didn't even scratch the surface of the record collection. Kath was very friendly and accommodating.
