Manor on Front is so tranquil and scenic! We enjoyed waking up and watching the river across the street from the Hull suite. The property is exceptionally clean and quiet. Our only complaint is that breakfast is only served very early (8:45am was the latest option), so we didnā€™t get to experience it, but the room, view, peacefulness, and staff are exceptional.

This property consists of two very beautiful 19th c. mansions converted into B & B's. We had a huge room called the Hull Suite which was handsomly decorated in period style. A more modern ensuite bath was also very elegant. A delicious full breakfast was served in the gorgeous dining room. If you want to treat yourself, this is a perfect choice. The only negative was the stairs to our suite....as oldsters we were challenged.

This place is a hidden gem in Harrisburg. I went to Harrisburg for a conference but I ended up taking a personal retreat at the manor two full days instead of going to the conference. I stayed in the suite with a full river view and it created a serene atmosphere. Loved the full size bath tub where you can really soak yourself.
