The hotel was charming, clean and very cozy. Very convenient for the shops and restaurants, 5 minute walk from the railway and bus stations. The Hotel staff were amazing, so helpful, friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this hotel

The dog friendly garden room has a noisy kitchen above. Its a converted basement. Its accessed via litter strewn steps and faces onto a carpark. There is no garden.

Stayed for saturday night as visiting the turkish baths just a street or so away. Room was large & provided all facilities that i imagine anyone would need. Very handy for the shops & surounding restaurants also would be a very handy place to stay if visiting the royal hall or the harrogate convention centre all staff that we came into contact with were spot on & breakfast on the sunday morning was excellent . Will definitely be back in the future.

If given Room 15/Garden Roomā€¦ Beware!
If given Room 15/Garden Room be prepared not to get any sleep. The price for the booking was not cheap and when checked in the guy made a passing comment that there may be slight noise in the morning as itā€™s below the Kitchen. We made our booking in February so not a last minute booking and was allocated this room. Unfortunately the noises started from the very start and resembled a herd of elephants running from one side of the room to the other, this continued until 11pm when we went upstairs and asked how long this would continue? The lady asked the man to stop dropping the mop bucket on the floorā€¦ It stopped for a small period and then started again until 10 past one in the morning. Unfortunately for us it did start again at 6am, so no we did not get any sleep. Before we checked out we overheard the staff having a conversation about us asking when it would stop and one said ā€œwhat did they expect, itā€™s a bleep operating kitchenā€. When checking out, we made the guy aware of our disappointment and he was apologetic. He mentioned this room now comes with a warning of how loud this room is, not sure why we didnā€™t get this? We did receive a discounted rate which was appreciated but didnā€™t make up for the spoiled trip.

Nice short stay in Harrogate
Nice room above a pub, perfectly located in the center of Harrogate, within walking distance of everything. Room and bathroom are big, comfy bed. Excellent breakfast selection, from full Yorkshire, American pabcakes, cereals, etc. Very friendly service.

It's an ideal location with plenty of restaurants and bars around. Free parking is definitely a huge bonus. The breakfast is cooked fresh to order with plenty of options. Excellent shower the downside was the bed we had was far too soft felt like it was sagging and it was rather low.
