This is a terrific spot - atmospheric, memorable and right in the middle of what Habana Vieja has to offer. The room was comfortable and very nicely appointed - stylish and modern. Staff was incredibly helpful and ready with lots of recommendations for where to go, and very willing to help with reservations ahead of time. For Americans who need to follow OFAC rules while in Cuba, all of the recommendations are compliant, which reduces stress considerably. The property is right in the middle of Habana Vieja, so you'll hear some noise at night - the building is hundreds of years old and right up against other buildings. This may not be to everyone's taste, but it's all part of staying in the old center of the city. Highly, highly recommended!

A haven in Old Havana!
A 5 STAR EXPERIENCE! As Havana (and Cuba) continue to rebuild from the pandemic, AS Boutique Residences provide all the comforts we needed to enjoy our 4 day trip in Havana. EXCELLENT breakfasts and coffee, caring staff, safe and welcoming environment, refined touches and comfort. This a beautiful hotel that did not dissapoint! We'd recommend this establishment to anyone traveling to Havana. It's walking distance to all the major attractions. We felt very safe in this hotel and highly recommend!

The restored mansion is phenomenal. The staff is customer service-oriented, and communication is one of their strengths. We also booked a tour through the hotel and were very pleased. 24-hour service, security is available. Additionally, our package included breakfast, which was delicious. If you are a coffee connoisseur, you will be very pleased. I would recommend the property to anyone visiting Cuba.

Beautiful and classy property. Good central location. It’s in Old Havana so a slight culture shock at first as a result of the mixture of gorgeous architecture and run down nature or the whole area. The hotel is immaculate and marvellous.

Such an amazing hotel! The work and pride that was put into the renovation and upkeep of this place blew us away. The owner and staff were so welcoming and friendly. Andre and his team were absolutely incredible hosts! The residence itself is beautiful inside and out - we spent a lot of time on the roof top patio, which had gorgeous views. Breakfast was amazing and every possible need/request was met. Andre arranged wonderful day tours for us, which were some of the best memories! Awful experience - would not recommend this place
As a solo female traveller, I will forever be disgusted by the actions of Andre, Sandy and their employees. I booked here, despite it being costlier, as I wanted a personal touch. I did not get that. Andre was controlling, passive-aggressive and hostile to the point that I would only interact with him as needed. They charge way more than the going rate for taxis and tours. Airport pickup is 70 euros, double the usual cost. Their classic car tour is not better, other companies provide an actual tour guide along with a driver at the price they charge. The driver provided by them was rude and unprofessional. He took calls, listened to and replied to voice-notes whilst ignoring me. He also shouted at a homeless woman who asked him for money. I told Andre about this and he accepted the driver’s lies and didn’t offer a compensatory tour. Whilst unwell, I was treated badly by them. I had an awful headache, amongst other symptoms so I made a reasonable request to turn down the loud music played during breakfast. The owner's response was to not only refuse but turn the volume up even though I was the only person in the restaurant and also shout at me. He then cancelled the late check-in agreed - which I needed as I was unwell. At this point I decided to leave before check-out as I no longer felt safe or welcome. After leaving, I got an email from them full of false accusations & threats. I have travelled globally and NEVER experienced such awful behaviour so cannot ever recommend.

An artful and comfortable boutique hotel in the heart of Old Havana. Delicious breakfast with the best coffee and fresh juices. The hotel’s art tour gave us access to some of Cuba’s best contemporary artists in their studios and homes. An unforgettable experience all around. We will be back.

Andre and Sandy were amazing! Their property was beautiful so close to everything. Every aspect of our trip was so thought out — from breakfast to their recommendations and assisting us with dinner reservations and more, they were fantastic. The design throughout was also stunning. They clearly harnessed the beauty of the building and updated it was gorgeous modern touches. We wish we could replicate this hotel throughout the world!

Excellent stay in renowned UNESCO world heritage site Old Havana. The property is fantastic with hands on mgmt who offer a lot of info and support during check in. The area is very safe and interesting - we walked the area for three days and it never got boring. I will return for an upcoming photography art project and I know I will book this accommodation again. An excellent, spirited, caring establishment. Great staff, accommodations, food, and coffee. Our stay with Andre and the team was the best experience we’ve had with any hotel in the world because of the service and care we received. A special thank you for the time you took to explain to us about Havana and what to expect from our time there. The restaurant recommendations were spot on as well. Every member of staff were polite and courteous. Our room was upgraded and the quality was second to none. We were made to feel valued and that nothing was too much trouble.
