Great location and great house but…
We loved the location and the house but there were a few disappointments the house had not been cleaned. There were dirty towels in the washing machine that had not been washed, dirty bedding, and glass under the sofa that one of our children found. I spoke to the host and requested a refund for the cleaning fee since the house was not clean and she gave me the run around. No refund and then she stopped answering my messages( very unprofessional). The listing was wrong there were 4 bathrooms not 5 and there is not an extra twin bed in the upstairs room like pictures. That was very inconvenient since it was a family trip.

Perfect House!
We rented Amber and Salim’s house for 10 weeks to come back and forth on the weekends. We wanted a place where we can leave our belongings and not have to lug our ski stuff back and forth. Their house was a perfect fit for our family. We are a family of 6 and we could’ve definitely fit another family with us. The house is clean, updated and spacious. Everything we needed for the kitchen was already there. Amber and Salim made communication very easy, however he barely needed to communicate because everything was perfect! Bathrooms are big, clean and there was hot water. There were games for the kids and a nice comfortable couch to watch TV on. The dining table is big to fit many people. This house is a great place to make memories with your family. It is a short drive to the ski mountain and very close to the lake. Masthope is our favorite community and this was a great house to spend the winter in!

Lots of laughs with great friends.
My girlfriends and I went on a weekend getaway, the house was amazing and very relaxing! It was just what we needed and wanted. I did feel I had hard time reaching Amber, however I’m not good with checking with my email whatsoever. I would highly recommend to rent from her all in all everything worked out!!!

Spring Break Getaway
We were 8 people - 3 adults and 5 children and stayed in Amber’s house for 4 days. We rent on VRBO a few times a year and cleanliness is my top concern went renting. This home was definitely spotless and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Everything in the house was high quality and you could tell the owners cared a great deal for their house as well as their renters having a positive experience. We stayed in between seasons(very end of March) so most of the community amenities were closed, which we new ahead of time. I would love to come back when the amenities in the community are open. We did go to the beach and the kids played in the playground that was there. The community entrance is also directly across from the entrance to skiing. Basically this house would be awesome to stay in either season since there are so many amenities. We loved the beach and want to come back in the summer. Amber was easily accessible to answer any questions that I had both before and during our stay. Definitely a place to stay again!

Winter getaway
Amber did a great job answering any questions we had. The house was located a short 10 minute drive to Ski Big Bear Mountain. The home had everything we needed to make for a great stay. Plenty of games for the kids. Lots of room to spread out. Theatre room was a big hit. The beds and couches were super comfortable. Would highly recommend this home.

Beautiful, Spacious, and Sparkling Clean Mountain Getaway
Our stay at this property exceeded our already high expectations. We had a total of 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 eleven year olds and the layout of the home was perfect. Separate living and sleeping area for the kids on the ground floor and more than enough room for the adults in the living/dining area on the second floor made this getaway a blast for the kids and relaxing for the adults. The kitchen was well equipped - it had all of the necessities and even more including snacks, nespresso pods, tea, etc. The bathrooms were clean and had everything we needed and the laundry area too. The dining space was large enough for everyone at mealtime. Everything was very clean including all the linens. There is plenty to do in the community and very close by. The mountain is a 10 minute drive - along with a restaurant and market for take out and necessities. Amber told us about a quick walk to the lake that we took in the mornings - she was very helpful and responsive- a wonderful host, making sure we were all set and giving us information on local activities. We will be back for sure and now that we have an idea of the area we will extend our next trip to be more than an extended weekend!

Perfect winter getaway!! We love this house.
From beginning to end this house was a joy to stay at. It was incredibly easy to find and it was spotless clean when we got here. The house was stocked with the basic things you'd need and then some. The owners clearly put a great deal of effort in to making sure thier guests would enjoy themselves. There were so many little things, small details, that made our stay even more enjoyable. Evey outlet had a charager, the foosball, billiard table, the list goes on. Everyone, from the adults to the toddler had a relaxing weekend and we would come back here in a heartbeat. Thank you!
