Wonderful stay!
Would highly recommend this property. Cozy and decorated for the season. Quiet neighborhood. Great location for hiking, shopping, and eating out. We hope to be back again!

Amazing Cozy Getaway ** Highly Recommend!!!
We absolutely loved the Crooked Creek Cabin... suited our style of rustic, off the beaten path, but still close to things! The Hosts have thought of everything and offer so many amenities and things you might need... so grateful we found this place!! Very easy to find, check in and out. The bed is super comfy & loved being able to utilize the washer & dryer. We stayed for 3 nights, will definitely recommend to others & hope to stay again!!! Thanks so much for being a class act!!!

Amazing Gem for a Couple’s Getaway
We were amazed at the property. It was incredibly well done, very cute, and had a ton of amenities. We arrived to a bottle of wine that was delightful. The kitchen had all kinds of staples and even a large variety of spices. Even the bathroom had ibuprofen and bandaids. The bed was like sleeping a cloud, it was the best bed we’ve ever had in a VRBO. The front porch was beautiful, and every morning we started the day with coffee and a light breakfast on the porch, enjoying the beautiful weather and nature. The property is also Centrally located to several decent sized cities, about 15 minutes from Galena with vineyards, a distillery, and a very cute downtown shopping area, 15 minutes from Dubuque (with an amazing farmers market and bars and restaurants), and from Plattevillle with a bunch of restaurants. We will be recommending this to our friends and will be back ourselves.

Had a wonderful weekend at the Cabin. The cabin was decorated for Valentines and was a wonderful extra item to see the owners do for it. The cabin was equipped with everything. We enjoyed staying here and will be back!

I usually never leave reviews but this property defiantly deserves 1, we have stayed at several ( the wife and I) this was our favorite stay , it was super clean, nicely decorated all the feeling of home, the owners spared nothing it was all there, grill,firepits,extra pillows,fans, you name it ,they had it there for you even the little stuff that we aways bring,,perfect country location but just moments away from galina /Elizabeth iL.ect so very peaceful, was a great 50th Birthday get away ,,WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.. thank you for a wonderful stay !!!!!!

Location perfect. Short distance to both. The cabin was so quaint and cozy. Soo clean and nicely decorated. Made you feel right at home. In addition so many amenities included. The decor , little night lights throughout, and anything you may need while there was available. We also had access to three fireplaces for peace and solitude at the end of the day. The owners truly take pride with their property. Highly recommended and would definitely return!!

Nothing less than amazing!
Scott was so responsive. The pictures don’t even do the cottage justice. This was our favorite place we’ve ever stayed. The property is beautiful and so convenient to Galena or Dubuque. We didn’t even get to do everything we wanted to because you have to find time to enjoy the porch and grill. They had everything we needed. Will be planning annual trips back!

Perfect except silverware drawer that I addressed with hostess contact; I learned that this cabin is owned by a distant relative or or I would have asked for some kind of discount I would stay there again because I think the one issue was an anomaly and exception Great location and ambiance

After Covid I have stayed in a number of vacation homes and This was by far the nicest place that I have stayed. It was absolutely perfect. I cannot say enough about the cleanliness of the place the decor, the bunnies in the yard just the difference in getting away has made me a happier person.!!!

Beautiful Getaway Retreat
This place is absolutely beautiful and so clean! Such a quiet retreat and so close to everything. We went to Galena and Dubuque which were only about 20 minutes away from this property. Great quiet cozy cabin. Very well maintained and updated. It feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere but you’re literally minutes away from Dubuque and Galena Illinois. I would highly recommend having a stay.
