Welcome to our 200 year old stone cottage, which has been tastefully renovated to provide comfortable accommodation fo r up to four guests.
Our place has a cosy lounge and corner dining area, made more authentic with a characterful stone flagged floor. If you like a real fire, you’ll love the log burning stove ensconced in its original stone fireplace. Logs and kindling for the wood burning stove can be purchased locally or we can supply at a cost if given prior notice. To supplement this, there’s gas fired central heating.
We have Netflix installed on the Smart TV.....please note, there is NO LIVE TV but as well as Netflix, you may choose to play one of our DVDs through the TV. We have a chromecast installed on the TV so you can cast from your smartphone/Tablet/Laptop onto the TV.
Our fully fitted and well-equipped kitchen includes a fan oven, induction hob, microwave, refrigerator (no ice box), toaster and kettle. We leave the usual larder items of milk, tea, coffee, salt etc.
Due to COVID we have removed a number of items, we appreciate your understanding.
Two comfortable double bedrooms are situated on the first floor. We are able to provide an additional put up bed for a 5th person for an additional charge.
The bathroom is a double height room, beautifully lit by a skylight window and it has a bath with electric shower.
To the rear, you’ll find a paved yard and to the front a small garden.
The property is three minutes’ walk to Hebden Bridge railway station and five minutes’ walk to the centre of the town with its array of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.

* Please note that if your group includes children younger than five years of age we would like to make you aware of the following aspects of the property before booking.

The points for your consideration are as follows:
• We are set up mainly for adults with two double beds and we don't provide any equipment such as stair gates, cots, baby bath etc.
• The stairs are carpeted but please be advised that the lounge is stone-flagged with a largish carpet square in the middle and all other rooms are finished with varnished or painted floorboards.
• The wood-burning stove can be a hazard for young children when in use - of course you could just run the central heating and wouldn't necessarily have to use this.
• And finally, there are three stone steps from the kitchen out to the back yard.

On a plus point for the children, the cottage is situated across the road from the town park with a safely enclosed kiddies area and skate park for the older ones. On a plus point for everybody, there's Park Life Cafe, which sells lovely food and drinks and possibly ice cream in the warmer months (no promises on that though!)

Super cottage in the Calder Valley
Perfect little cottage for a short stay in the Hebden Bridge area. Excellent communications and check in arrangements. Cottage is well equipped with a small stock of essentials upon arrival. Cosy and warm, 'home from home' , it's ideally located for exploring the town and the Calder Valley. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage and great location
The property was exactly as in the picture, it was clean and homely and we enjoyed our stay there. Milk, tea, coffee, sugar etc all provided which was a nice gesture. Location of the property was great as not too far from the town and local bars and restaurants. We loved Hebden Bridge it was a lovely town with lots to see and do and we had a great stay there! We’d definitely go there again and highly recommend the cottage to friends and family. Good communication from Anne and Dave who gave us some great recommendations for things to do during our stay as well as providing details of the local restaurants. Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely cottage :)

Lovely Cottage
This property is a little gem in a really convenient location having quick access to Hebden Bridge centre, the spacious park and the canal walkways. We found the cottage well-equipped, comfortable and we both slept well throughout our stay. Alongside the provision of coffee, tea, milk there was a variety of basic items which were very welcome such as cooking oil, hand wash, sugar etc. Communication with Anna was very good and information about the area, the cottage itself and walks was greatly appreciated. Despite there being no parking, as the cottage is on a through road, we managed to secure free parking beside a local car park just round the corner from the cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our break at this lovely cottage.

Well located nicely fitted out cottage
Great location close to town centre but far enough away to be quiet. Close to train and bus connections. Very clean and comfortable with modern fittings and well equipped kitchen. However we had two complaints- Beds are not king sized as advertised (ordinary doubles) and there was no regular TV connection??(Netflix or DVD only)

Hebden Bridge Weekend
Super weekend! The cottage is perfectly situated to explore the area. Parking nearby. Very helpful owners who made us most welcome and provided very clear instructions for using the cottage. Not the best water pressure and busy traffic nearby but theses minor issues can't be helped and didn't hamper our stay. We shall be back!
