This bright and pristine property is located just North of Alpine Helen.

20% OFF Rental Rate with Arrival Date by April 30, 2024! If you book online or through an online travel agent like Vrbo, Homeaway, or Expedia, please request the discount under the Guest Comment section. Once Georgia Mountain Rentals receives the reservation, the 20% discount will be applied to the rental rate and you will receive a Reservation Confirmation showing this amount!

Everything is sparkling and new in this little cottage for a family of four or six. The front porch welcomes you to sit and rest for a while.

Enter into the living room with modern decor, a ceiling fan, and a smart TV. The front guest bedroom has a brand-new king-size bed. The separate dining room features a large oval table and artistic chandelier. To the right side of the dining room is the master bedroom with a queen-size bed and private bath. There is a shower/tub combination and a single-sink vanity. There is also a sleeper sofa for two in the living room.

The kitchen has all new full-size appliances including a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The green cabinets and granite countertops give the kitchen a cool and refreshing atmosphere. The small appliances are a standard coffee maker, a toaster oven, and a blender. The cabinets are filled with dinnerware, glassware, and cookware, while the drawers contain cooking utensils and flatware.

Off the kitchen is the second bathroom with a shower/tub combination. The backyard is just out the kitchen door. The gas grill and outdoor furniture are close by and there is a short path to a separate laundry room. The laundry room has a new washer and dryer, laundry sink, iron and ironing board.

Pets are not allowed at Bear Footin' Cottage. This property is a short 1 mile drive from downtown Helen.

This cottage is adorable! It was clean, comfortable, perfect location for tubing and just a short 1 minute drive to town. If we travel to Helen in the future we will definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was very convenient to downtown and plenty of room! The only thing there was no linen for the pull out bed and none for the extra pillows, so we had to go purchase some! Other than that it was great!

The perfect stay
We have stayed here the same weekend two years in a row now and plan to do the same next year. The rate is good, the place is very nice, the surrounding neighborhood is quiet. Grab some groceries and the cottage have everything you could need. We love staying here!

The house was very cute but the layout was strange for 2 couples. The second bathroom was not close to the second bedroom. We thought we would be able to walk into Helen but the 1 mile to Helen did not have sidewalks and it was along Highway 17 which is a very busy road. Needless to say we had to drive into town during Octoberfest which we wanted to avoid. Advice - Make sure that you take shampoo/conditioner type toiletries with you. Also, very little spices in the kitchen for cooking. Thank good ness we had planned on eating out. Overall, we would stay here again but not during a busy season in Helen.

It was easy to find and get to. Not that far from Hellen downtown.
The place was nice but we are both handicapped and the bed was to high to get into. we could not figure out how to work the TV at all. There was no ice maker to be had. My wife had to use the magazine box to get in and out of the bed. Over all we liked the cottage. It was nice to sit on the porch and read.

The cottage was easy to find, impeccably clean, and in a very quiet neighborhood that was a short drive into the heart of Helen. It is super close to Unicoi State Park and Anna Ruby Falls. The house would be nice for a couple or small family.

One of the nicest property's I've ever stayed!
This property was phenomenal through and through. Such a lovely house and on a quiet street with friendly neighbors to boot. Was very clean, had everything we needed and was exactly what we were looking for. Property management was helpful and timely any time I reached out.
