If you're looking for an adorable cabin on the river with easy access to North Georgia, this is it! The deck is literally on the river!

The cabin has updated appliances, including a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and HVAC. The one bedroom is perfect for two, and there's a queen-size sofa sleeper that can comfortably sleep two more. We love four-legged children, so this cabin is pet-friendly.

Sit back and enjoy the sound of the river, do a little fishing, or curl up with a good book! We are committed to providing a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for our guests.

The cabin features a cozy living room with a fireplace, a queen sofa bed with fresh bedding, and a lounge chair. The bathroom is a nice size with a walk-in shower. Mountain nights are usually cool, and the days are pleasant. The cable provider is Windstream, and we offer services through a smart TV. We provide complimentary Sling TV, but you can sign in to your own providers if you wish.

Please remember that the cabin is rural and has a rustic charm. Power outages can occur with storms or heavy winds. In such cases, we have an assortment of board games, cards, and fishing poles to help you enjoy your time unplugged.

The outdoor deck is almost as large as the inside, allowing guests to truly take in the private surroundings. It overlooks the river and is close enough to fish from the deck. Located at the end of a dead-end road, it's cozy and private with woods directly across the river.

It is just ten minutes to the delightful town of Dahlonega where you can buy your groceries and can even arrange to have them delivered to your car. You can also enjoy shopping at the many quaint places on the square, dine in several charming restaurants, canoe down the river, explore hiking trails galore, and find horseback riding less than two miles away. Or head downtown for your Starbucks fix. Stay for a weekend or come and hang out for a week! These locations are hard to find, and you will love this beautiful 'hideaway'.

Delightful Dahlonega Getaway
The cabin was quaint and cozy for our needs. The surroundings and proximity to places we visited exceeded my expectations. This was our first experience staying in a cabin. We typically stay in B &B s or hotels. This was a pleasant change for us! We look forward to our next Dahlonega trip and would definitely consider staying in this cabin again. Perfect place for two with quite a lovely setting and view of the river!

Nice and quiet cabin on the river. Had everything we needed for our stay. Will book again in the future. Only issue was the door lock. Host had the wrong number and we had to drive back to town to get cell service. Host answered the call and resolved the issue. Next time we will ask for a door Key. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us.

Interior was VERY clean with exception of oven which had a pool of grease in the bottom which activated the smoke alarm when the oven was preheated. I needed to clean it before it could be used. It has rustic charm and well equipped kitchen with comfortable living space. Bed was comfortable but very difficult to get good sleep due to plastic mattress pad that crunched with any slight movement. We did see one mouse scurry under the stove as well as entering a crevice from a gap in the exterior dining room wall. Exterior needs TLC and the deck, including table and chairs were full of debris and appeared uncleaned upon our arrival (I opted not to clean it and we never used the table, chairs nor umbrella) However, there was a nice sitting area with cushions which we enjoyed. The fishing poles were a nice touch.Dog friendly but previous renters dogs large “deposits” were not removed before our arrival which is not healthy for other dogs. Digital lock worked sporadically requiring 3+ attempts to secure closure. Never could get the TV to work with limited instructions.( we are relatively tech savvy) . The host handbook could use some updating. We understand this is meant to be a rustic cabin and some things come with that setting. These comments are meant to be constructive criticism and if we were the owner we would want to know. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful tranquil setting.

Great Quiet Place:)
This place is perfect to relax with such a serene deck overlooking the Chestatee River. If you are looking to get away this is the perfect spot. Cavendar Creek Vineyards is very close by and a great spot as well. The owner is great and super responsive. Highly recommended.

Quaint cabin on Chestatee River
Small, quaint cabin perfect for 2 people with all the amenities anyone could want. Cell service in area is spotty but cabin’s internet and WIFI worked flawlessly. It was rainy and chilly during our visit but the cabin’s HVAC system along with the fireplace did great keeping our old senior bones warm. Sounds of the river below from the large deck is very peaceful and calming. Finally, the owner answered our multitude of questions quickly and patiently and as first time renters of a cabin in the Georgia mountains, that was greatly appreciated

Beautiful cabin! Would be great Spring or Fall. Winter was a bit cold and the heater couldn’t keep up. Sits right on the river. You can fish from the deck. Overall a great cabin!

Great location - 15 minutes from Dahlonega & 30 minutes from Helen. Cute - Clean - Comfortable. Enjoyed coffee on the deck overlooking the river. Quiet & comfortable for a weekend getaway. *we did have quite a bit of confusion getting into the cabin - so recommend confirming the logistics prior to arriving - other than that it was a perfect trip*

Beautiful cabin in a great Location
We booked a week long stay from 8-14October 2023 We 1st want to say the cabin is in a great location to hike and see the area! 2nd the Cabin is decorated cute, has all the amenities needed for a great stay with stocked kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, very a comfy bed, and nice living space. We enjoyed the deck with the beautiful Chestatee river below. We arrived and let the owner know that upon inspection a few items that needed attention: we noticed a board in front of door was coming up. There had been soap scum covering the shower caddy. The vacuum was full of debris. Lastly and more importantly that we had found 2 roaches we figured since its in the woods and near a water (river) they might be wood roaches. The owner responded quickly with the cabin is treated quarterly by a pest control company which put our mind at ease a little. However!!!!!! Well we still continued to kill 1-2 roaches that we had seen when we arrived home from being out all day enjoying the area. On our 4th night of our week long stay I happened to be up late & needed a drink of water later around 10pm & went into the kitchen. When I flipped on the light HOLLY COW ROACHES everywhere!!! Of all sizes!!! I was absolutely HORRIFIED!! & started killing them. I contacted the owner that we would be leaving & we asked for a refund for the 3 days we could not use due to the roach Infestation, the owner understood, apologized greatly, & would be refunding us. We thanked the owner for all the help.

The cabin is great and as described in the listing. A little hiccup on check in but the owner was very responsive. The dirt driveway was a bit intimidating at first but very manageable. The cabin is secluded and scenery is beautiful. Reasonably close to Dahlonega and also Helen GA.

Fun Place for a Couple
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this Chestatee River Cabin. We were there for a week. The cabin was cute and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with many items that someone might want to use. There was a barbecue place close by that served breakfast.and lunch. The deck was roomy and had nice furniture for sitting outside and looking at the river. There were plenty of places to eat out in Dahlonega. There are a couple zoos nearby and a lavender farm. Great place to stay!
