Situated just yards from the river Helford, this quaint period detached cottage is tucked away in a quiet backwater, but only a short walk to the local shop, the Black Swan Inn, Gweek Seal Sanctuary and Gweek Quay which has a slipway should you wish to launch your boat or kayak. The Quay also has a lovely cafe with outside seating overlooking the water. Best visited at High tide. All areas of the Old Mill house are beautifully furnished with period furniture and it has three lovely bedrooms; one King size, one double and one small double.

Gweek is a delightful and friendly rural village and is an excellent base from which to explore the Lizard and it's beautiful coastline. The stunning Kynance Cove is just a short drive away. Frenchman's Creek and Helford are a short kayak away! Wednesday night fish and chips (from the mobile van) on the village green make a wonderful and sociable mid-week supper.
