This beautiful detached property offers comfortable open plan accommodation, a perfect location for a countryside getaway, romantic walks or as a base to explore the county of Herefordshire. Nearby Hereford and Leominster both offer an array of bars, shops and restaurants and it is just a short drive to the towns of Ross-on-Wye and Ledbury which both offer guests a lovely day out. Hereford Cathedral is also the location for the famous Mappa Mundi and chained library.
Hereford city is just 9 miles from the property while the popular town of Hay-on-Wye, also known as ‘the Town of Books’, famous for its annual literary festival, is set just 16 miles away and is set on the Welsh border. Local attractions are plentiful and include the Black and White Village Trail, the historic National Trust Weir Garden, Croft Castle and Brockhampton Estate. Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Very comfortable self contained unit, ideal for one or a couple. Friendly owners who were quick to respond when a leak developed in the hot water boiler. They offered alternatives to get around this problem but I didn't need to avail myself of them. In an ideal location to get out to Wales or the Herefordshire countryside.
