Modern Getaway in Amish Country

When you check in to our modern lower level apartment, we want to make you feel like you are able to relax and enjoy home away from home. Health and sanitation is very important to us, therefore we do our best to make sure you not only feel comfortable but more importantly, safe as you travel. We have recently upgraded a special HEPA type device onto our new heating /cooling system that will filter any germs traveling throughout the whole house. The apartment is located on the lower level of our home and has a private entrance so you can come and go as you please. It includes an equipped kitchen and living room with attention to detail to make sure you are able to relax. Being in the middle of Amish country, you will find quaint farms and Amish-made items all around and we are located close to Grove City Outlets where you can enjoy tax free shopping. We are only a mile from downtown New Wilmington which includes Westminster college, churches, restaurants, banks, shopping, salons, winery/ brewery & coffee shop. It's the perfect mix of modern amenities in the middle of simple life.

Was n town for a family reunion and rather than hotel, we stayed here. We were very happy with the cleanliness and condition of the unit. The area was off the beat and path but close to everything including being in the center of Amish Country. Communication with the host was awesome, she checked in daily on us. if you are looking for an extremely quiet neighborhood away from everything but close enough, this is the place for sure.

The property we stayed at was very well laid out, and well furnished with excellent accessories. Hostess Patti was very attentive to all our needs, and very responsive to our questions. The location of the property is within 1 mile of new Wilmington, and in the middle of Amish country. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and would return without hesitation.

Our stay at this property was absolutely exceptional! The cleanliness and maintenance were impeccable, reflecting the owners' evident pride and care. Perfect Amish getaway location
The location of this rental was just outside town, with Amish neighbors just down the road. Lots of Amish businesses to visit! Also not too far from the outlet mall in Grove City! And 2 beautiful state parks nearby to go hiking! Our host was thoughtful and made great suggestions of things to do! Loved our stay!

A charming daylights basement apartment
Joe and Patti are very friendly, welcome us to their semi-basement apartment. Both bedrooms have big windows with garden view and daylights. Rooms are clean, and comfortable like a home away from home.

Beautiful little apartment with comfortable amenities. Patti and Joey are great hosts and very accommodating. The setting is serene and pastoral, and we so enjoyed the evenings on the porch, overlooking the barley field with its attendant bits of wildlife. Wonderful, abundant fireflies in the evenings brought back memories of my childhood in PA. This setting and the simple Amish agrarian life all around the area made for a pleasant stay! Touring our childhood home
Our first VRBO experience will not be our last. Rather than do our usual check-in-to-a-local-motel routine, we elected the VRBO route and have no regrets. The property was lovely, the hosts were always reachable, and the location was just what we wanted... a quiet cul de sac, farmland, small-town ambience, and lots of local attractions that we had never "toured" when growing up in the same county.

The apartment was very nice and as advertised. Patti was an excellent host. Thanks for the amish donuts! The area is so peaceful nice to get away from the noise of the city. Highly recommend staying here. Would recommend separate thermostats to control the temperature. Thanks again Patti for letting us celebrate our 40th anniversary at your place.

Quaint, Spacious, Quiet Retreat
The owner, Patti, was amazing with communicating when we booked the apartment and her communication didn’t disappoint throughout the months before we arrived. We were going to New Wilmington for a grandson’s graduation and of course, coming from California, we had many questions. From the moment we arrived, Patti was so nice and continued to text us during our stay to see if we needed anything. Unique location
Great getaway from the ordinary. Loved the quaint Amish town feel with the green grassy knolls, cute farm houses, and horses clopping along road sides and plowing fields. Great for a morning walk. Nice scenic drives to wineries and shops. The host was on top of communication and very helpful! The four of us, old high school friends, slept comfortably in the two queen beds. Each night we watched a movie on the smart tv. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a little breakfast and apps at night. The rest we were out and about. We would definitely do this place again!
