Restored 1810 Farmhouse in Hillsdale, NY

Enjoy our sensitively renovated 1810 farmhouse just minutes away from the best the Berkshires and Hudson Valley has to offer. Catamount Ski Mountain and Terrain Park is 5 minutes away and Ski Butternut is 20. The center of Hillsdale is also 5 minutes away with a grocery store, wine merchant, and other cute local shops. Great Barrington is about a 15 minute drive and Hudson about 20 minutes with many great restaurants, shopping. Don't forget Tanglewood is close by as well! There are amazing hiking paths like Bash Bish Falls within 10 minutes. If you are a cyclist - there are incredible country roads and epic climbing in every direction too!

A generous dining table is the perfect spot to gather around for a family meal or enjoy your morning coffee while watching for deer and wild turkeys. The large windowed family room has a wood burning stove and TV and looks right out onto the tree ridge and is a favorite place to watch the snow fall or autumn leaves blow. The kitchen is well equipped should you choose to cook or there are tons of great restaurants close by. While still close to everything the 4 acre property is tranquil and private.

Just what we needed
Sarah is a great host and gave helpful suggestions for things to do in the area including a couple of amazing hikes. The house is a charming farmhouse fully restored to its original glory. We built a couple of cozy fires - both inside and out - perfect getaway.

Great Stay!!!!!
We just returned from our stay at the Noble House. The cleaners at this house are some of the best that I have seen in any VRBO property. The cleanliness was at the highest standard, which really made this well-appointed quiet country experience a very enjoyable one. It is on a beautiful, quiet street, yet close to town. Most certainly, we would highly recommend this property as a top value for the area.

Beautiful Gateaway
This property was great. A perfect gateway for my family. The house had everything we needed in order to make breakfast and a couple lunches. With a couple grocery stores and a handful of restaurants within 20 minutes of the house we didn't have to spend too much time driving. Proximity to Catamount (7 mins) was a big plus for us with my kids. Communication with the owner was great and any issues were immediately addressed. All in all we loved the house.

Adorable property in a phenomenal area
The Noble House was the perfect getaway! We had ample room, the property was gorgeous, and perhaps our favorite part it was located in an area that allowed for easy exploration to several neighboring towns. We used several recommendations the hosts gave to us for restaurants, shopping, and farmers markets. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Beautiful Historic Home
This home is beautifully updated and decorated. The landscaping was also well-maintained, which let us enjoy the inside and outside of this special home. The home was easy to find and the host was available to answer questions. While in the area, we visited the charming town of West Stockbridge and the outlets in Lenox, MA.

Wonderful Thanksgiving Stay
We had a wonderful stay here over Thanksgiving with family. The house was really warm and well equipped - the honesty bar is a nice touch. We loved the wood burner and our toddler loved the toy cupboard and the little children's chairs! The beds were very comfortable, there are no curtains or blinds in the upstairs rooms and we saw several deer wandering through the woodland. Sarah, the host, was very responsive and helpful. She kept us well informed during a short power outage we had due to the snow! The house is really well located with Hudson and Great Barrington being under half an hour away. There are also good local restaurants and shops in Hillsdale. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again - thanks Sarah for the lovely stay!

Great stay!
My two friends and I had a great stay at Noble House! It was super cute and incredibly relaxing - exactly what we were looking for. Our host reached out day of arrival and departure and the house was exactly as described - definitely would recommend! Our only hiccup was check-in; we arrived when it was dark and Google maps was directing us to a location about a mile down the road (which did not have a home). It was confusing and it took us about an hour to finally find the house and check-in (Wayz to the rescue!).

Fabulous Weekend Getaway!
Well appointed, gorgeous cottage in the Berkshires! You feel like you've stepped back in time but with all the modern amenities. The house was cozy and comfortable, and perfect for 3 couples. The kitchen was stocked with all that we could need. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the weather worked in our favor so we could enjoy the patio and sit by the fire pit under the lights. Centrally located, it was easy to run into Great Barrington for errands. The host is lovely and super responsive. We can't wait to return.

Long Weekend Family Stay
We had such a lovely stay at this charming farmhouse on a magically bucolic road in Hillsdale. Perfectly located between Hudson and Great Barrington, we had easy access to all the area has to offer. We brought our bikes along and enjoyed riding in the neighborhood as well as on the beautiful Harlem Valley Rail Trail. Our tween and teen enjoyed their own bedrooms and we all loved eating both home cooked and take-away meals in the delightful backyard garden. Quite, clean and picture perfect! Sarah was a wonderful host, very responsive, and shared great local recommendations. We would love to stay again!

Charming and cozy stay
Such a charming house - we enjoyed a week stay over Feb break w our 3 kids. They loved the bunk room. It was very cozy and the stove was a highlight. Great location - close to skiing, restaurants, etc but also quiet and peaceful at the house. Two hiccups with the access code to get in and hot water one day, but both were fixed - I was able to text Sarah freely for help. We had a great week!

Very charming farmhouse in Hillsdale NY. Very conveniently located just 3 miles away from Catamount for people who are looking to go skiing in the winter. The house was in great condition and seems to have been recently renovated. The communication with the owner/property manager was very easy. Easy checking and checkout. Ski weekend with kids
Noble House was the perfect winter weekend getaway for our group of four adults and four children aged 3-6. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated and fully stocked, even with toys, children's cups, bowls, plates and cutlery for the kids! It was located just 5 minutes from Catamount where we skied and 20 minutes from Butternut where we tubed. The villages of Hillsdale and Great Barrington are very close and full of cute local shops we enjoyed stopping at. We hiked at Bish Bash Falls just 10 minutes away, but also enjoyed walking the property and the outdoor fire pit. Sarah was extremely informative and recommended wonderful shops and restaurants. We look forward to returning and have already recommended this home to our friends.
