Great Stay
Excellent location near the Blue Ridge Music Center on the parkway. It was very easy to get back and forth and great scenery on the parkway and the drive back and forth to the cottage. My wife and I came for a concert at the Center Saturday night and enjoyed the noon time music at the center during the days we were there.

We stayed one night the house is the best place we have stayed. We feel safe and secure our dog loves the yard. Kitchen is stocked well. House is clean and comfortable. We highly recommend!

We loved this lovely cottage/home near the Blue Ridge Parkway. I was a little skeptical about all 10s involving the reviews posted, but this place is truly excellent if you like to get away from it all. Kathy is a wonderful host and of all the places we have been, this place by far has been the best!

The home was very clean and had everything we could ask for. There was a large field with a pond and a fire pit. We had our 2 dogs who loved running in the field. We saw a lot of deer every day. It was very quiet and relaxing, but close enough to stores and restaurants. The owners were very nice and were close by if we had needed anything. Very comfortable bed and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. A most relaxing home that we will hopefully be able to visit again.

The pond was down the hill - full of Bass fish we caught 10-15 within an hour of casting - comfortable bed - private - beautiful scenery - deer almost at the front door - easy TV controls- 8 minutes from town- restaurants etc... we plan on coming back again next year and staying longer - we loved it, Great Anniversary trip !!! Thank you to the owners for a perfect weekend

We found this place after our normal stop in fancy gap Virgina was already booked and very glad it was booked cause this house was great very clean . Very roomy the bed was excellent the host was very nice and they left milk and cream for our coffee that they provided. All I can say is this house moved to the top of my list on all my travels back and forth to New York and Florida. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us .

Wonderful find in Galax!
We were looking for a nice clean place we could go on vacation in the mountains with our lab Sadie. We found it. Beautiful place away from the town but close enough to restaurants and grocery store. Kathy was a wonderful host. We look forward to returning.

We had a very enjoyable relaxed stay. My husband enjoyed the catch and release pond and I enjoyed sitting by the pond in the sun. Galax is a very quaint town to visit with several very good restaurants.

Galax Adventures
Thank you for a great place to stay in Galax, VA. Our stay was perfect! The little house was snuggled away on a great piece of property by a pond. And also had a nice area for a bonfire. The house was super clean and has everything you would need. We even walked in to some relaxing music playing. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back! Thanks again to the hosts!
