Gratitude View offers a cabin stay that is far from rustic. If you are looking for a cabin that is tucked into a quiet mountain neighborhood, near Fancy Gap, we’ve got it. “Virginia is for Lovers” isn’t just for the beach crowd.
You will enter the cabin through the welcoming porch to find the interior has been recently refreshed and offers all the comforts of home away from home. The living room has a vaulted ceiling and electric fireplace and includes an inviting selection of books and games. New quality furniture, a 65" flat-screen smart TV with Roku services, wireless internet, and a well-equipped kitchen, may make leaving difficult.
From the deck with a gas grill and a table with seating for 6, your party can share a feast while enjoying the view of the piedmont and mountains beyond. Whether a foggy morning, a clear sunny day, a gorgeous sunset, or the nighttime sky, you’ll remember your time spent here at Gratitude View. You may even catch a glimpse of our local wildlife.
3 bedrooms (all with new high-quality mattresses) and 2.5 baths, provide plenty of room for 6 to enjoy this mountain experience.
The master ensuite is outfitted with a king size bed, separate shower and tub.
On the upper floor, you have a great view of your living room and the magic beyond. You’ll discover the Sky Room is the perfect place to dream on the queen bed. If your get-away requires a little work, you’ll find desk space there, too. The Red Room is outfitted with both a double and an XL twin bed with the full bathroom conveniently located between the two rooms.
If you just need a break from the craziness of your everyday living, come put your feet up here, and enjoy your morning coffee at our coffee bar.
The area offers a variety of golf courses within a short distance, if, like one of us, that’s your passion. Perhaps you fancy winery or brewery visits, you will have many options. Biking, hiking, or a stroll through Mabry Mill are always good choices.
Are you looking for a home base to spend your time adventuring? This is the perfect spot, whether it's a beautiful drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, a National or State Park (bring your park pass and get it stamped at the ranger office),. Or if you wish to revisit your childhood memories of Barney, Andy, Opie, and Aunt Bea in Mount Airy, you will not run out of things to do.
Keep in mind that the peace and quiet of this location also means that the nearest grocery store is 30 minutes away, so you’ll want to bring food with you for your first night, or stop at the store for a curbside pickup.
And when you plan next year’s trip your first thought will be ‘let’s go back to THAT cabin’
