This extraordinary property spans an impressive 55.4 hectares, offering unparalleled privacy and tranquillity.

Approximately 1 km of waterfront along the Coorong National Park, our home is a haven for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat.

The location

The cottage is nestled behind the dunes, with large gardens at the front and rear and outside eating areas, with a BBQ stocked. Cleared walking paths over the dunes provide access to a bird blind with sweeping views over the Coorong, and folding chairs there give a great place for picnics or an evening drink. Further cleared walks from the cottage stretch back along the paddock edges and into revegetated native Hindmarsh bush land. A family of kangaroos is often in residence and bound away as walkers step into the bush.

The Lounge

Indulge in spacious comfort in our lounge area, where plush furnishings beckon you to unwind. The adjoining dining space provides the perfect setting for shared meals and conversations. The lounge has a TV with local television channels, with complimentary WiFi provided to give connection to other streaming services for entertainment if desired. Adding to the charm, the warmth of a wood-burning stove completes the experience, inviting you to relax by the fire, sip a glass of wine, and bask in the soothing ambiance.

The Bedrooms

The master bedroom, with its sumptuous double bed, looks out over the rear garden. The second bedroom offers a blend of elegance and practicality with a double bed and playful bunk beds for the young adventurers in your group.

A portion of the property is currently under construction, situated at a safe distance from both walking paths and the cottage, and beyond hearing range. There are signs posted to guide visitors on where they should and shouldn't go.

The construction site is on the other side of the dune and cannot be seen from the cottage. Additionally, most of the major construction work is complete, and the project is now at the fitting-out stage. Given the distance, the guest should not expect much sound disturbance. The builders simply drive past the cottage on their way to the main house.

When you walk down to the bird blind on the edge of the Coorong, which is marked on the map as a location worth visiting due to its stunning views, you might see the construction site down the coastline a bit.
