What are the must-do activities in Hobart?

If you stick with the three Bs (brewery, beaches, and Battery Point) we’re certain you’ll have an awesome trip:

Cascade Brewery: They’ve been business almost 200 years, so they must be doing something right! Better take a tour and sample the local favourites to find out.

Beaches: 7 Mile Beach is around a half-hour drive from Hobart. Think surfing, long stretches of sand (it is over 11 kilometres of oceanfront), and gorgeous sunsets. But if you want something beautiful and remote, then head out just after sunrise to Freycinet National Park for a long day or weekend trip. You may have the world-famous Wineglass Bay all to yourself.

Battery Point: We suggest renting a bike to tour this historic neighbourhood, which is packed with wonderful pubs, boutiques, and restaurants. Pop into Jackman & McRoss Bakery Café for cuppa or for an exotic pick-me-up, the South Seas Cocktail Lounge.
