We arrived to check in after a very long day. No one was at the desk and there was another person waiting ahead of us. I went to use the lobby restroom and when I returned we were all still waiting. Finally Chaz came to the desk. We booked a king size bed but didn’t realize it would be a handicap room. We would have gladly taken two queens with comfort and carpet to the hard floor in the handicap room. Then I went to take a shower and the back wall had dried dirt smudges on the wall. I had brought my own shampoo and conditioner but tried to use the bath soap moisturizer and it was empty. It’s hard to request more when you’re in the shower. I relayed the info about the soap to the desk clerk in the morning and got a half grunt and a look like “yay.ok.what do you want me to do about it?” No apology, no attempt to say they would take care of it. At that point we left. We will not try an Avid again. The messages are so nice but the reality is ridiculous

I was very pleased with this hotel based on other reviews. The only issue I had was that I reserved a room with a king sized bed and they gave me a room with 2 queen beds. I questioned it and they didnt have an answer but they were polite. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Breakfast was pretty decent too, however they did not have pancakes/waffles.

The beds were the perfect firmness for us, not rock hard and not too soft. Excellent selection of breakfast. Every staff member that we talked to were friendly and helpful. We have decided that this hotel is our choice when coming to this area. There was nothing negative with our stay.

The staff was very helpful. The beds are the best we have ever slept in. The options for pillows on the bed were soft and firm and it was stitched on the pillowcase. This hotel is our choice from now on!

Would come back! Right off Highway.
It was a nice stay but I was a little bit disappointed that I specifically chose the “standard- 2 twin beds” option but it went over to the hotel as “whatever the hotel has available”. which was standard king. Why give options to choose if I’m not going to get it? I’m not mad or upset because I was with my niece. If I was traveling with friends, they wouldn’t have let that go. Otherwise, the hotel was great. Clean, staff was very nice & offered great suggestions. Spent time at the pool, a little small but good water temp.

The bathroom was not supplied (body wash) and when asked for one, he just handed me a bottle instead of coming in to refill it. later asked for towels, we were told that they were being washed and dried and will bring them when done, till the next day to check out and still no towels.
