Sunset Lodge on River Mountain is a beautiful, spacious home on 3 acres with spectacular sunset views of the rolling mountains from the large front porch or from inside through the large picture windows. It offers 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and a gas fireplace surrounded by window views. The home includes 3 bedrooms on the second floor, with a full bathroom. There is also a large kitchen with lots of cabinet space, dining room, laundry area, and a large family room to relax and connect with family and friends. Outside, there is a picnic area with a fire ring for beautiful sunset campfires!
This home is centrally located for many fun activities: Home borders PA State Game Lands for hunting bear, deer, and turkey; is a ¼ mile walk to the Juniata River and Yellow Creek for fishing and kayaking; ¾ mile to the 10.35 mile H&BT Rail Trail for hiking and biking; 1 hour, 15-minute drive to Penn State for a football game or other exciting State College activities; 25-minute drive to Lake Raystown Resort/Trough Creek State Park; 40-minute drive to Seven Points Marina/Beach and Allegrippis Trail System; 1-hour drive to Flight 93 National Memorial, or explore Altoona (45-minute drive) or Johnstown (1 hour, 15-minute drive).

It was a short, nostagic stay as my husband spent childhood times in the area. The house was nice and clean. I didn't care for the refrigerator as there was mold growing in the freezer portion. The property was quiet and relaxing otherwise with a very pretty view.

Countryside Getaway with a Hunter's Touch
We had a wonderful weekend at Mike's home in the countryside. The home is beautifully decorated with hunting decor, and it has a great fire pit and yard where we enjoyed spending time. The sunset views from the home are amazing. Mike is a super friendly and helpful host, and he made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend getaway. Here are some specific details about the home and the amenities that we enjoyed: The home is located in a quiet and peaceful area, surrounded by trees and fields. The home is spacious and has plenty of room for guests. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook and prepare meals.
