People comment on the dated rooms and feel to this hotel, but that's what we liked about it. We legitimately explored the floors, the basement, the weird nooks and crannies. All of it. It felt like we were transported back to the 30s. Sure, there are things about it that are dated and in poor condition, but it honestly just felt very retro and vintage. I don't think I've ever stayed in hotel that felt like it. It worked very well for us and a 6 year old.

Black mold in shower in room. Crud on baseboards. Windows had been recently replaced but no finishing paint or even cleaning the puddy residue off the new windows, big stains on carpet. Grime on sides of bathtubs in the bath houses. I’m not a germaphobe nor do I consider myself a nitpicker but this was brazen.

Arlington, "Grand Dame of Hot Springs!"
The Arlington is the "Grand Dame of Hot Springs". It just Celebrated 100 years and is in the process of renovating. It is the BEST location if you are visiting Hot Springs! Tara at the front desk goes above and beyond to make sure guests are taken good care as does Shane in Parking! They both genuinely care about their guests! I had such a nice time staying here. I walked to the Bathhouses, Lunch, the National Park, and even Dinner at the Ohio. Again, ideal location!

We enjoyed our stay at this historical property; rating would be higher but they are undergoing a renovation so we did endure some growing pains. The spa is a like a time warp to a hundred years ago and totally worth it! The staff was great and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. We will definitely come back if ever this way again.

First off, I would like to say that upon booking my trip, Dany was very helpful in answering all of the questions prior to our departure. My family and I visited for the Christmas Holiday and enjoyed our stay. The hotel offered a Christmas buffet, and it was really good. The buffet had an assortment of entrees and desserts. It was well worth the money. The one thing I didn't like about the hotel was the heat/air unit. I love the fact that the room has been preserved for the historical reasons, but I would recommend updating the heat/air unit. Front desk/staff was great. They were all very attentive to our needs throughout our entire stay and also very friendly.

Historic doesn’t have to mean dirty! We booked through Expedia and had no a non refundable room or we would have gotten another hotel/airbnb. None of the employees seemed to have accurate information- I asked when the hot tub would be closing and they weren’t sure, you ask when the dinner would stop serving, again not sure… when we were unlocking our bedroom door following our check in, the room keeper was in there watching tv. TOOOO many resort fees for nothing- no free parking, no breakfast,no room keeping either - the additional charge you see on Expedia is not accurate.

The location is good the hotel is nice I feel like the rooms could offer a more comfortable bed and pillows. The atmosphere of the hotel was pretty good. The buffet offered and bar drinks are a bit pricey for the quality of food served , I guess you're paying for the convenience of it being on site. i did book a massage in the hotel as well , which I was a little disappointed with as well. Overall everything was just ok. The best part of the hotel is the location. I would go back hoping for a better experience with massage and other animates offered.

Beautiful Historic Hotel in Perfect Location
The employees were very friendly and loved the spa and the bar/restaurant area. Had live entertainment on the weekend that was very good. Also loved the old architecture and the free mineral water. The only thing I would say could be improved was the cleanliness of the room. My daughter and I stayed in one of the older rooms but the carpet was not vacuumed and the bathroom and shower could have been cleaned much better. Other than that it was a great stay in a perfect location and would stay again if in the area.
