Upon checking in, we were informed that they did not have a room with two queen beds, which I paid for in advance. I even paid $60 extra for the additional person, and I indicated in the reservation that it would be three adults in the room. Also, I checked in via the app that morning; therefore, we clearly indicated our arrival. Instead they gave us a king suite “upgrade.” This upgrade required my adult son to sleep on a roll away bed that was delivered with no linens. We even had the pleasure of setting up the roll away and moving furniture to accommodate it. It merely took an online request and a phone call to the front desk to acquire three king flat sheets and a pillow. As further compensation, they offered us late checkout, but we checked out before 8 a.m., which rendered the offer useless. I was then offered 500 points. I merely downloaded the app to check in; loyalty points are hardly adequate compensation for the “quality” of service provided by this establishment. Rest assured, we will not stay here again.
