Where to start, check in was smooth but once we got to the room it went down hill. The windows are covered with plastic sheeting on the outside. The carpets are filthy and ripped up with cigarette burns. The bathroom door handle was covered with what I hope was toothpaste and they only provide single ply toilet paper. No alarm clock or radio only a phone and tv. During the night there was a dog barking and someone upstairs had been stomping around. Now for breakfast. Trays of semi warm sausage, eggs and hash browns. However, I watched the woman who was replenishing the food also cleaning tables with a spray bottle and eating breakfast all while wearing the same single glove. It should be noted that I watched he fingers go into her mouth while eating. The room conditions are documented with photographs.

Advertised and booked as it offered airport shuttle .. unable to contact the property after trying many times before leaving the uk .. no response to correspondence .. had to pay extra and wait 44 mins to get a taxi to the property .. poor customer service .. and very noisy air conditioning In room other than that we would stay her again

All I'm going to say is after reading this & you still book a night here, you're crazy. I'm not a snob about where I hang my head, but I don't like the smell of mold permeating in the hallways & especially not in my room. These rooms all need to be completely re-done. Whomever owns this property, should seriously shut it down & do a completely remodel it. The outside is getting a fresh coat, but y'all seriously need to just take the time and do this right. Every single room. On top of all of that, we had no hot water in our room for our showers. My husband went down to get a blow dryer for me, and he mentioned it to the staff, and they were like, yeah were having issues with the plumbing. We ended up leaving and went down the way to the Best Western, which is right next to the waffle house restaurant, which is by the airport. This hotel has been completely remodeled. Now it was a tad noisy throughout the day, due to being right near the airport, but we weren't really in our room until later in the evening, so it wasn't really an issue. At least the rooms were super clean, the staff was super accommodating and their was hot water.

I never give bad reviews but with my family telling me some of this I had to share some. Walk up to the building to get checked in and it smelled like weed. Dont bother me but with kids it will to some people. Hair was on pillow, the linen on beds, and towels. Woke up at 5 am to screaming people fighting I am not sure just didnt want to open door to see. Just was not comfortable felt unsafe. I will not be staying there again.

Donā€™t ever book La Quinta! Having booked 2 months in advance we arrived after an exhausting transatlantic flight upon arrival that they had given away our room. Presumably because of hurricane damage - of which we could not detect a sign. And even if true, why didnā€™t they have the decency to cancel upfront? Terrible attitude towards the customers. Only thanks to Expedia support did we find an alternative for the night.

We booked a room months in advance. We show up to the hotel and had to wait several minutes for an employee to come to the front desk. Then she told us they had 0 rooms and that we shouldā€™ve been contacted (no one contacted us). She said there was nothing she could do, wouldnā€™t even call another hotel nearby to see if they had accommodations for us. We ended up booking a room at a hotel 10 mins down the road. The property was dark and smelled dirty. Will not do business with them again.
