The property was damaged terribly by the hurricane! They should have given us the option to cancel our reservation and book elsewhere! There was substantial damage to the main tower, the buildings were very old and smelled of musk and mildew! The cable tv kept going out! This hotel should have been closed down for renovations Everything is old here!

I don’t like to leave bad reviews but this place was beyond terrible. Our room was hot, smelly, and looked so rundown it was ridiculous. This place needs some serious upgrades. I would never stay at this hotel again. Everything about the room was bad. The ceiling, walls, curtains, bathtub, everything about it was a turn off. I see people have written good reviews about this place and that blows my mind. There’s no way that our room was the only one this bad.

Close to NRG, but was it worth it??
I very rarely leave reviews, but the condition of the hotel made me fill like I really needed to. Pros: The Proximity to NRG stadium was excellent. Just across the street with a pedestrian overpass for access. The staff was very friendly and did the best with what they had, which wasn't a ton. The beds were descent, though small. I haven't slept in a full-size bed since I was a teenager. That was my fault for not paying attention when I booked. Cons: I will preface this by saying that it was obvious this place's exterior was probably damage by the recent Hurrican that hit Houston, at least I hope that's why the outside looked the way it did. The lobby was the only update space in the entire hotel. The rest of the hotel made you feel like this was probably a really nice place back in the late 80's - early 90's, and it smelled that way too. No A/C in the stairwells & the elevator was broken, even though we were told when we checked in that it would be fixed by the end of the day, so we had no choice but to lug all of our luggage up/down the stairs in what felt like a green house in the middle of a Texas Summer. Our bedroom door seemed like it did not close all the way and had at least 3/4" gap all the way around it. The ceilings in the bathroom were so low that even my 5'4" self could touch them when barefoot. As long as you aren't over 5"11, you should be fine but may have to stoop a little when in the shower. Overall, I would probably not stay here again.

We picked this hotel because of its location to the arena because we were attending a concert at the arena. The location was perfect for that but otherwise we wouldn’t normally stay here. This said, the facilities were spotlesslessly clean even though the room decore looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 80s. Also the staff here was top notch all the way. The neighborhood isn’t food not surprise you walk out the parking lot right onto the sidewalk to the stadium.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I will sleep on the street before staying here again. I have stayed in hotels all over the country and beyond. This one takes the cake for being the worst. Hotel is in bad need of a complete overhaul and better staffing. If you are considering this hotel then keep looking.

Our stay was ok. Beds were comfortable and AC worked well. Hotel is very old and dated. The elevator was not working during our stay and we did use the stairs but it is rough carrying luggage up to the third floor. Had I known this ahead of time I would have definitely canceled our reservation. We did only stay one night for a concert at NRG and it was so convenient.
