We loved this hotel and had a fabulous stay, but it's a small guesthouse in a period building, so may not suit everyone.
On the plus side, the building has real character, the staff are lovely, the courtyard cafe is a great place to relax and take a drink and the local area is very good for food and drink options, while not being far from the ancient street. The breakfast was delicious.
On the downside, the property is small (6 rooms), made of wood and rooms open onto the courtyard. Sounds in the courtyard are audible in the rooms, and vice versa if you're noisy. The bathrooms are modern, but a bit industrial in appearance with rendered walls. Smoking was allowed in the courtyard, despite signs saying it was prohibited.
Overall, we heartily recommend this hotel.
