When I first arrived I had a problem with getting the correct date for my reservation and stay. I was initially frustrated at the mix up but the young lady who assisted me at check in went to superhuman efforts to resolve my dispute and obtain a refund for the wrongly scheduled date of stay. Both the young lady at the hotel and Expedia fully resolved by disputed charge. I have to say all of the staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Despite only staying one night, I had a truly exceptional experience. I will return door a longer stay at this hotel in Hue, Vietnam. First rate!

The room is small. Bathroom is very small. We had a room with a terrible view. Asked the receptionist to change room to a better view. They switch me to a room opposite of that room with a “pool view”. Charged us more money for it. I will never come back here.

Very nice hotel for those who want to experience the cultural vibe of Hue. The hotel is decorated with many art pieces that are breathtaking. I like almost everything about the property: nice location, beautiful decor, professional staffs. However, these are the 2 main things that quite disappointed me: 1/ The staff asked me to put my deposit in cash. I had to ask them twice to accept my credit card. I traveled to many places with my travel credit card and had no issues with this even very small gift stores accepted and of course without any fee. I believe SPG is a quite luxury hotel, this can’t be any issue and they had to ask the guest to do deposit in cash. 2/ There is no iron in the room and the laundry cost is pretty high while this has become something very basic at many hotels.
