QUIET, CLEAN, COZY and SECLUDED. Boulder Creek Cottage is located in the premiere neighborhood of Fern Valley at 6,000’ in the mountain town of Idyllwild California.

We would love to accommodate your stay in our 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cottage for your Idyllwild experience. Our cottage sleeps 4 to 6 people. King size bed in master BR with large flat-screen HD TV. Queen size bed in guest BR. We also have 2 roll-away beds available for our guests.

The log pine interior offers a fully stocked updated kitchen and provides everything you need for the ultimate dinner with friends and family. Charming great room offers a wood burning fireplace, large flat-screen HD TV, and free WI-FI. We also have a full washer & dryer. You will be just a 3 minute drive to town.

Perfect wedding anniversary vacation spot
We loved the cabin and Idyllwild! It was our first trip to the area and we picked it to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and quickly felt like home. We enjoyed exploring the area around the cabin. The views from the neighborhood were simply amazing. Our host was communicative and made sure we settled in alright, but was never intrusive. We definitely hope to return.

Amazing stay!
Larry and Anne are amazing people! The are very kind people. That is all reflected in their amazing home. Very neat clean comfortable. We were lucky to have our stay after a major storm. The snow made this home even more magical. This was our first time staying in Idyllwild and it certainly will need be the last. Larry made sure to communicate EVERYTHING you would need to know. They have taken the time to make the stay as stress free as possible. If you have the chance, stay here!

Cozy Boulder Cabin
Private and peaceful, and set up against nothing but trees and large boulders, this wonderful cabin was a perfect retreat to celebrate my birthday with my husband. Leading a hectic life in Orange County. I needed a little getaway to relax not be on the computer and not wrap Christmas gifts. Well, equipped, beautifully maintained and extremely comfortable this cabin is the perfect getaway for 2 to 4 people .

Relaxing solo getaway!
Originally planned a two night trip with my teen daughter, but plans changed so it was just me! It was the most relaxing, rejuvenating, peaceful two nights I’ve had in a very long time! The home is at the end of a street, very quiet, beautiful deck to enjoy day and night. The swing at the back of the house was perfect for just listing to the sound of the wind in the trees and the little creek. Loved the word burning fireplace, bed was very comfortable, close to town but far enough away to be tranquil, easy and friendly communication with the host too!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The cabin was cozy, quiet and peaceful, and my kids loved hiking and playing near the little creek. Idyllic, quiet cabin
We wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin was perfect for our family of four. It is clean and cosy and had everything we needed. The lack of a dishwasher was not a problem for a weekend stay. We loved the huge boulders around the cabin and enjoyed watching squirrels and deer. We highly recommend the place!

Easy access and communication with owner. Nice, comfortable A frameish style cabin nestled amongst oaks, pines and the characteristic large granite boulders of Idyllwild. Shady, quiet location near a babbling spring amongst a first of trees. About a 4 minute drive to “downtown”. Has 2 large bedrooms (king and a queen) upstairs and a full bath. Open floor plan with full kitchen that as most amenities anyone would need, except no dishwasher but not a big negative. 1/2 bath and laundry off kitchen. Fireplace is an insert but very cozy with lots of firewood. Large outside deck to watch the big, bushy grey squirrels play and the chick-a-dees fighting over the bird seed. Outside grill and plenty of seating. A very nice accommodation that we would definitely book again.
