Check in went well. Staff was friendly. The shower and soft water was absolutely amazing!!!! The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were super soft. The continental breakfast had lots of options and was pretty tasty. We had a spill at breakfast and the kitchen staff made us feel a little uncomfortable. Other than that we would definitely stay again.

A place to find respite from the buzziness of life
Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Shelbyville was excellent. The front desk staff were very professional and showed a great deal of kindness and care. The rooms were very clean and provided a comfortable place of rest and enjoyment. The breakfast was very good and offered my family with a great start to our day. The pool was a little cool and my family and I really wished a hot tub was available, but everything was clean and offered a great place to find respite from our busy lives.

The hotel was the cleanest hotel I have ever seen. The breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel. Many options the food was fresh. The coffee was wonderful. The pool area was very clean and inviting. The workout room was clean. The staff was by far the friendliest staff of any hotel I have ever been in. We heard absolutely no noise from outside of our room. We couldn't hear the neighbors or their tv like you can in many hotels. By far the best hotel stay I have ever had. We stayed 3 nights and will be staying there anytime we are in the area.
