This newly constructed wood and rock cabin has a front porch that overlooks a pond. It is perfect for a quiet, secluded get-away from the city. You can go hiking over the hills, fish down on the river or just relax in the hammock. All kinds of native and exotic Texas wildlife can be seen on the property. The cabin is located just a half mile off Cade Loop road on 120 acres. This area is the most beautiful part of the Texas Hill Country. Though the cabin is out in the country, it is less than a five minute drive to the Guadalupe River and Ingram Lake. The cabin has 400 square feet of living area with a living room/ kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen has a small refrigerator, microwave, sink, and large toaster oven. The living room has a couch that converts into a Queen bed. The bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower. Ceiling fans are in every room and there are two fans on the front porch. Electric hotel-like ac/heating units in the bedrooms keep you warm or cool. all of this, plus the modern convenience of Limited data ; FREE WI-FI! It is a perfect place for a couple or a small family.

(As of 2-10-2023 Kerr County, Texas and our Ranch is in a Extreme to Exceptional draught conditions ,which has caused our pond to almost dry up. In 2022 our county recieved less
than 1/3 normal rainfall. Hopefully it will rain soon and we will delete this notice. Pray for rain !)

Peace and quiet
Peaceful private, away from city noise. We want it to stay longer. Very enjoyable and quiet. Because of this tranquility we didn’t miss TV. Very nice area and would recommend to anyone for nice getaway. I definitely keep this in mind. Thank you for your hospitality.

The cabin is just right for 1-2 people or a small family. It was comfortably furnished and very clean, which was so nice. The pond is nice but be aware that, at least when I was there, it was very low, so it does not look like the pictures. It was still nice to sit out on the patio during the cool mornings. The location is off a ranch road so it’s a little hard to get to, but it is peaceful. The AC unit is quite loud so if you are sensitive to noise at night you may find it bothersome but it was okay with me.

This little bungalow was built by craftsmen and outfitted by caring. Everything you need is provided for a short getaway in the Hill Country, Although I didn't meet the owners they are obviously folks that take pride in what they have.

PERFECT!!
Property is great! We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying the beautiful grounds. The fish and turtles in the pond are endless entertainment and the pond is surrounded by well maintained grassy area so you can walk around the pond without worry of coming across a snake hidden in the grass. Our stay was short so I did not get around the property much but what I saw was wonderful. The cabin is small but comfortable. We will visit again. The only thing that would make it better was if there were more comfortable chairs (ideally rocking chairs) on the porch but the two chairs and nice size table work for cards or dinner on the porch. There is another identical cabin on the property. Both have the private bedroom with bath and a pull out couch. It would be great to rent both cabins for a small family gathering. It was a really nice relaxing trip and the contacts we great and very easy to work with. Highly recommend!!!!

Gorgeous property
The pictures on the listing are gorgeous but the property is heavenly and more than pictures could show. The owners keep it natural yet manicured without losing the county feel. There were little touches like fresh flowers on the table and the cabin had anything you could need. We’ve recommended to several of our friends already and would absolutely return.

Pros: Away from the hustle and bustle. Although, we could hear a couple laughing throughout the night and morning. Limited wifi so the kids stay off the devices. Clean. Cons: Very small. The fridge's freezer is about 2 inches tall. We bought ice cream sandwiches and they all melted. The freezer doesn't work. The door to the bathroom won't close all of the way. The wall a/c unit is in the bedroom so you have to leave the door open the whole time to cool the living area. There is a large cleaning fee but we were still asked to clean before we left. I know the ad said there was no tub, but I didn't realize how much I would miss that while on vacation. There are not extra blankets, sheets or pillows. Overall, we felt it was overpriced compared to other places we have stayed.

Charming house on a beautiful property. Shower was small but other than that perfect. You do have to travel approximately 1.5 miles on gravel road to access house. Low riding cats could have difficulty.
