The Lochardil was nice. The property is a bit dated but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the service was great. The staff was very accommodating.

Difficult to believe this beautiful hotel and gardens are in the heart of busy Inverness. The staff were exceptional and so helpful. The solarium dining room was a beautiful setting for a meal

Beautiful old manor house in a quiet old neighbourhood. We really enjoyed the half hour walk along the river into town. Had dinner in the restaurant the first night and it was excellent. Delicious breakfast and very friendly staff. We were quite happy that we chose this hotel rather than a location downtown.

Nice place, a bit dated but large and nicely appointed rooms. Great breakfast and wonderful staff at check in and for breakfast service. Caroline at check in and Andrew in the dining room were outstanding. Service in the bar to have a drink was slow, seemed that when bar manager was busy the two young ladies helping were clueless and were unable to communicate to senior staff that we asked for drinks. Overall nice place to stay and nice walk to Inverness town Centre.

A quiet hotel just a 5 minute drive to downtown Inverness. The room was spacious and comfortable for the family. Very nice staff. We also enjoyed the Scottish breakfast in the morning.

This was a lovely hotel - a mixture of olde world and new facilities and features. The rooms we were allocated were excellent. Breakfast was great and we dined in one night which was also very good - compliments to the chef. We would definitely stay again if we are in the Inverness area.

Loved everything about this hotel. Fantastic staff. The rooms were quite luxurious, with the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. Restaurant food was great, and the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Could not recommend more!

Staff was very friendly and informative. The room was very comfortable and spacious. We did not get to explore much around the property beside walking in the garden but the area felt very tranquil. A bit of distance for walking to town.

Although ranked as a four star hotel, our experience was this was a solid three star. Room was clean, but did not meet luxury standards. Decor was dated, sink faucet leaked and room needed to be painted. Staff was pleasant.

We adored this hotel. At first when we arrived, we were concerned not to be in the main building but it turned out the addition (added in 2006) featured walkout rooms to the gorgeous gardens. Service was impeccable and some of the friendliest we received in all of Scotland. Lochardil was top notch in every single way, we were so blessed to have found rooms here.

The staff was nice but not very professional. They didnā€™t give us any information about wifi or the property when we arrived they just handed us a key. The room was hot with no air and the bed spread was dirty. The carpets were also dirty and it smelled like smoke. Dinner was very slow and no one checked on us or tended to the bar. It is not a location I would recommend
