We had a fantastic stay at the Timber Garden Cottage. Its location is perfect--not right in the downtown area, but conveniently close. It was also a good base for driving out to several area waterfalls. The living area is laid out as an "L" and was spacious with super-comfortable couches. There was a pretty garden with a couple of Adirondack chairs to enjoy a drink outdoors. The beds and bedding were high-quality and comfortable. We didn't cook while we were there, but coffee, tea, sugar, ice, a few welcome snacks, and some miscellaneous staples left by other tenants were there on arrival, and I was envious of the professional gas stove, left over from this property's former identity as the Wild Flour Baked Goods company. Be prepared to use a French press if you are a coffee drinker; if you aren't, bring a small coffeemaker with you! The AC is window mounted and supplemented by fans, but even with a loft and a heat warning, the house stayed comfortably cool. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return during high flow time in the spring or early summer.
