Reithron House, Cozy, Modern Open Plan Cottage

This old stone cottage dates back pre 1951, it survived the earthquake of 1953 and has been lovingly restored exposing the stonework and original hand carved roof beams. It is open plan (there are no enclosed bedrooms with a queen bed and single bed seperated by a wall) . Modern, yet very cozy. The views are simply stunning overlooking the yachts and fishing harbour as well as the village of Frikes. It is within meters of the harbour, tavernas, a mini market, bakery and beach front. The beach of Marmakas, Kioni Village and Stavros is only a few minutes away by car. Numerous beaches could be found on the road to Kioni. Homer, the Greek poet refers to Frikes as Reithron, being the place of the wide river where it originally entered the sea.

Lovely house in an idyllic spot
A beautiful, newly renovated property in a great spot on a quiet bay. Four or Five tavernas in walking distance and a beautiful beach a short (if bumpy!) drive around the corner. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful, communicative and responsive - helping us with everything that we needed with super quick speed! Thanks for a lovely stay!
