Housekeepers were excellent. All inclusive and I got very sick with food poisoning on day six. Spent last two days in bed. Did not leave the resort and only ate there.

Beach area beautiful. Too many steps. All inclusive was limited! Air conditioning smelled of mold. Food was sub-par even for a buffet. Very repetitive. Drinks watered down and tasted bad! Moved rooms twice and still not great!

The views every room provides are stunning, the pools are run down, cold and an addition of a hot tub would be fantastic, the VIP access was no big deal, complimentary slippers and an all adult floor which the noise of screaming children still echoed to the room

We like the beach club option of having breakfast and Happy Hour in a small restaurant with buffet style food service. The rooms are a good size and every one has a large balcony with a hammock and a small seating area with a couch. The property is beautifully cared for. The special Brisas II restaurant is pricey but worth it for a special dinner. The hotel is set at one end of Ixtapa and is easily walkable into the commercial area where there is a good choice of shopping and restaurants. It is good value. We have stayed here 4 times and will return.

The AC didn’t work in our room, we called several times, didn’t get fixed. Refrigerator didn’t work. My daughter cut her foot/heal in the kids pool with a loose screw from a pool lamp and was unable to enjoy the rest of our vacation. Management offer a discount at a different hotel for a later date, but I haven’t heard back. We had a cockroach in our bathroom. Not impress with their device. Highlight - Las Brisas II restaurant and New Year’s celebration

Check-in staff not very experienced or friendly. Restaurant and bar staff were great! This was our 6th stay with Las Brisas and this was the first time we noticed several disappointing changes to the all inclusive package - no longer offer mini bar with drinks in the room, snacks on the beach no longer included, room service no longer included.

The hotel is old but care has been taken to ensure important features are maintained. The rooms are lovely with incredible views. The employees were very friendly and responsive, doing their best to understand our needs even though we did not speak Spanish. The pools and private beach were fantastic with great service. The buffet food was okay although I wished there was more focus on Mexican cuisine. The only reason I would not necessarily recommend this property to everyone is that it's not very accessible for people with mobility challenges, health concerns, small children and babies with strollers, or fitness limitations - the hotel is huge and built into the side of a hill with only one block of elevators in the middle that take forever; so a long walk there, or the option to use the 9 flights of stairs between the beach access (another 3 flights from the lowest floor) and all the restaurants. The hotel has made efforts to offer modern accessibility features or updates but travelers should be aware that the beach elevator often didn't work, added ramps for wheelchairs are steep and narrow, and even with the hotel offering truck rides to the beach and pools, guests still needed to use steep stairs or ramps to get to seating (if seats were even available near the drop-off spots). To get to the restaurants guests need to ask the hotel for the "secret passage" as there is no elevator and the restaurants are all down a long flight of stairs. Otherwise - stunning property.

The room had a good layout with a small table and chairs by the patio door. The balcony was fantastic, a large area along with a comfortable hammock and spectacular views of the ocean. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had good pressure. The best part of this resort, was not hearing the noise from the pool area which is quite common for most resorts, but due to the building layout, it lends itself to quiet balcony areas. I had also stayed at another resort while in Ixtapa, and I found Las Brisas to be a better value with better quality buffet food.
