Great Fall Specials! Wildlife, Hiking, Hot tub, Game Room, Tram, GTNP 1 mile!

August 10-17 and 24-27 $595 per night!!

Although a large home, Mountain Haus is also the perfect vacation home for two, three, four couples or a small family instead of several of several hotel rooms. It is also a great home for family reunions and big groups!

Spring marks wildlife on the move and creates a wonderful opportunity to view moose, elk, deer and antelope. Black and grizzly bears are waking from hibernation and are very active. Come enjoy Mountain Haus in the woods at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort close to both National Parks. Ski into the house in winter or ride the Aerial Tram to the top of Rendezvous Peak in summer. Rent DIRECTLY FROM THE OWNER without all the extra fees (cleaning fee, hot tub fee, management fee etc...) except required VRBO booking fee and taxes. Make sure you examine the details of a booking offer as the fees inflate the ‘nightly rate’ quite a bit. This private, forested setting is perfect to hike or bike directly from the house, walk to Village activities, shops and restaurants.

We continue to embrace cleaning procedures along CDC guidelines with the best professional products for our guests. Triple sheeting of beds, fans in all shared and private spaces.

You are renting directly from the owner who lives year-round in Jackson and has 27 years experience of guests in this home.

Great 5 bedroom with a private hot tub on nearly an acre, a dead end road in the woods. Enjoy the pool table, foosball and smart TV's in the great room and bedrooms!

We are located in Teton Village, just two blocks from the tram and gondola at the base of the teton range. The busy town of Jackson is only 12 miles away for more shopping and eating options.

Visit Jackson Hole and the surrounding National Parks before and after the crowds! May, September and October are the best months to view wildlife!

In summer, come experience the new common area with kids' fountains, bungie trampoline, climbing wall, mountain biking, bike paths, hiking, Aerial Tram and lots more..

In Winter the main gondola and new tram are approximately 3 blocks away, a short walk or shuttle bus ride. The auxiliary Moose Creek lift is even closer. At lunch or day’s end, Ski downhill from the Union Pass Lift through the trees, along Morley Drive and into Mountain Haus' backyard. Ski in, walk out.
Many ski season guests like the freedom of a rental car to visit other attractions in the valley, but others rely on the Teton Village Shuttle Bus and the Jackson START Bus to access the Town of Jackson with its additional shopping, restaurants and bars.

Mountain Haus sleeps up to 17 people in three king-size beds, three queen-size beds, one full-size, two extra long twins and one additional twin. Your vacation will be made as convenient as possible with the inclusion of many extras such as a pool table, foosball table, games, movies, video games, toys, poker chips for hours of entertainment. Wireless Internet and Cable TV/VCR/DVD in every bedroom; smart TV's in bedrooms and the Great Room!
The front door is level with the large driveway. There is plenty of parking for your group. The yard is left natural to accommodate the wildlife. The five bedrooms of 'The Mountain Haus' are named after the famous mountain peaks that surround the 1800's fur trapper Davey Jackson's 'Hole'. The large entry hallway has a graceful staircase to the Great Room and large 'Grand Teton' master bedroom and bath with king bed, fireplace and soaking tub. The remaining four bedrooms are back down the staircase on the entry level. The 'Rendezvous' and 'Moran' bedrooms are on the left, each has king bed and private bath. The family wing on the right has two additional bedrooms, a shared double sink bath with private access from both bedrooms: The 'Apres Vous' bedroom has a queen over queen bunk bed and separate extra-long twin bed; the larger 'Sleeping Indian' bedroom has two bunk beds: twin over a full sized bed and extra-long twin over a queen bed.
The private hot tub is level with the entry, just a few feet from the front door but set amongst the trees.
There is an extensive local library available to guests with Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks information and guidebooks to borrow for your stay.
The kitchen is extremely well stocked and even the most discerning cooks enjoy having most things at their fingertips. No need to buy all the extras like most rental homes: detergents, napkins, foil, paper products, trash bags and more! All linens are supplied and housekeeping upon departure is also included for no additional fee. The house is designed for your family and friends to just come, enjoy and relax!

Family vacation to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone
My husband and I, our children and grand children spent a week in Teton village. The house was just enough space for the 12 of us, and there were so many amenities, even for the 9 month old. We spent our days hiking and touring the parks and used the crock pots to have dinner waiting when we returned in the evenings. The large table was perfect for family game nights, and our 5 year old grandson really enjoyed the foosball table and checkerboard coffee table. We built a fire and made smores on our last evening there. Another highlight was seeing the deer in the yard mama and baby moose in the yard next door. in a yard one street down, our son also saw a bear! Numerous more animals were spotted on our Yellowstone tour. (We highly recommend Yellowstone Day tours and our guide, Jeff.) Overall we couldn't have had a better time! The only negatives were that the hot tub wasn't working and some toilets didn't flush well.

This home was perfect for our family. We did lots of hiking in the Tetons and activities is Jackson. It was in a great location, very clean, plenty of space, and a large kitchen very well stocked. We saw a moose and her baby right in the back yard. Would highly recommend.

Amazing property right by park entrance
The Mountainhouse property exceeded our expectations. It is even prettier than the pictures and is so spacious and spread out for our family of nine. The kids love having the gaming activities in the main living room. It was a perfect day, and I will be recommending it to several of my friends that are looking for places in the area. The owners make it easy to book and communicate with them.

For the most part everything was fine. The hot tub was not working, and one of the sliding glass doors would not lock. The only other small thing was that there were several remote controls left for the main television with little instruction as to how each worked.

Fun house that has it all
Great house, great location, great managers! Upon arrival we were delightfully surprised that the house is a lot nicer than the pictures show. The house had everything we needed. Made good use of the pool and foosball tables. Kitchen was very well supplied with dishes and pots and pans. Beds were comfortable. House was clean. Had an issue with the hot tub and the grill but Dan came over to get it taken care of. Depending on time of year, the access to and from the hill without a car can vary. A walk down the block and back up the next block will get you to the closest lift. However, if you have a car and someone to drop you off, it's very easy to be dropped or parked right by the tram. Upon a return back to Jackson Hole, would definitely look into staying at this house. Dan and Debbie are very easy to work with.

Awesome home, great location
All of us really enjoyed our stay. We had a big group and everyone had a blast on the trip. The home is perfect; great games (pool, foosball), nice living area/kitchen, and very comfortable rooms. Location is great - it's a 5 minute walk to the shuttle that takes you to either moose creek chairlift or the base village. Were able to ski-in, but it's a ski-in that probably only skiers can manage due to some slight trekking. Hot tub is big, clean, and hot!

Amazing location and host
The pictures do not give this house enough credit. The layout of the home was awesome and allow us all to hang out together and also resort to our rooms when we needed a break. The hot tub had a malfunction and the owners were quick to follow up and help get it working. We were stranded due to a snow storm with our flights being cancelled and they were so accommodating. Highly recommend this property, easy access to the mountain and the town of Jackson.

Comfortable & Convenient
Our family of six stayed here for a week over the Christmas holiday for a ski vacation. The house is comfortable and convenient, and we very much enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace, and well-stocked kitchen. The large tub and electric fireplace in the primary bedroom are also great for relaxing. Dan & Debbie are kind and responsive hosts. The ski-in aspect of this house was a definite no for us, at least with the amount of snow we had (little). It’s slightly treacherous off the area near the lift and also required us to take off our skis and hike through brush in the neighbor’s backyard and theirs. Perhaps it’s better with more snow? The shuttle stops at the end of the road, so that’s an easy walk, but definitely a bit much to walk with ski gear all the way to the lifts from the house’s location. We wished the ski racks in the laundry room were better (they’re loose with age/use and wouldn’t hold most of our gear), and that there was a boot dryer for wet/cold boots.

Beautiful Winter Wonderland
Truly the most spectacular vacation to date. The hosts are phenomenal, very communicative and have the space ready for adults and infants. It’s well loved by other guests given how stocked the pantry is and is truly the most convenient rental I have stayed at to date. Only advice I would give is to update the mattress toppers/pillows but truly you’re only in bed to sleep. The area is so beautiful and the property is so close to the Teton Village this place deserves 10 stars. All of my chosen family and son enjoyed the space immensely. Thank you for allowing us to use your home as our own for a week.

We had the best time. The house is perfect for family and groups. Loved everyone having their own bathrooms. 3 of us could work in the kitchen with ease and space. it's bigger than it looks in the photos! having the great room and pool table to play cards was great, too. We had everything we needed for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Two coffee pots is genious! Even for 6 people :) Plus so convenient to skiing and activities. Would definitely stay here again!

We came to Jackson Hole for our wedding in the GTNP. We wanted our families to be with us, but weren't sure how to fit everyone. UNTIL we found this space - AMAZING!!! We fit 2 sets of divorced parents, our best friends, my brother, and our dog all into one house with no conflicts, plenty of space, and lots of fun and memories made. We really enjoyed our stay there with all of our kids. Kitchen was very well stocked, lots of great games to play and enjoy each others company. Plenty of fans to take care of not having AC. Only criticism would be to maybe update the couches in the living room and some of the rugs, just a little outdated and worn but other than that we loved it and would stay here again if in the area with our 6 kids and their significant others.

Family vacation to Tetons
Debbie and Dan's Teton house was a perfect fit for our exended family of 12 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of room. Easy access to shops and tram in Teton Village. About a 20 minute drive to Jackson depending on traffic. We are an active family and drive times to activities are important. Access to Grand Teton National Park was good, although held up a bit by some temporary road work on the Moose Wilson Road. We generally left early (7:30 ish) for hikes in the park and were able to get to and find parking spaces at Rockefeller Preserve in about half an hour and Jenny Lake boat access in just a bit longer. Western River Anglers picked two of us up at the house for a guided fly fishing trip on the Snake and we were on the river in about half an hour. The group did a whitewater raft trip out of Jackson on the Snake downstream from the park.
