The room had a fairly strong smell and the entry light flickered on and off. Hotel was downtown and very convenient and the restaurant and bar are very nice. Rooms need a little care and attention though.

Two things: 1) no grab bars to get in/out of the tub. I’m 79 years old and having something to hold onto offers a lot of security. 2) on Sunday morning the elevators were not working for some reason. People were using steps down to the ground floor but that door was locked! Up two flights to an open door. Had there been an emergency it would have proved to be very serious. You need your evacuation routes clearly marked.

It took a while to get the drinks.(served in plastic cups)After a few sips the lights were all turned on and we told we needed to leave because they were closing. A "cup" of wine was $17. Had I known it was that much, I wouldn't have got it especially being told we needed to leave. I had a bottle of wine in my room that I could've drank if I knew we couldn't stay at the bar to drink what we ordered.
