We have stayed at many Quality Inn & Suites in our travels and never had a situation like this!! Upon arrival we were already concerned just coming into the parking lot! The grounds were horrible, unkept and dirty. The pool closed off and empty along with the hot tub (which was not stated on the site). Upon entering we were met by a very sweet customer service girl who gave us a key. The entire place is falling apart and is in dissary (we have pictures). My 11 yr old looked at me and made a face like, are we REALLY staying here? We opened the door to our room and I immediately said - DON'T SIT or TOUCH ANYTHING! It was DISGUSTING!! Mold, holes, wet dingy smell, slanted bed just gross! I went down and asked if there was another room available. She asked what was wrong but did not seemed surprised and handed me another room key. It wasn't much better but did not have holes in the door. She asked if we would like a refund but bc we booked through 3rd party (being Expedia) it would take 7-10 days to refund. We were out of town for a baseball tournament and it was already late. My son had to play the next morning and everything else was booked. I asked her if anything else was available. She offered us the suite which had a pull out couch. We looked at it and having no other option - decided on that. While the place needs to be condemned and torn down (yes that bad) the lady at the front desk was sweet as could be and extremely understanding and accomodating!
