The Dolphin oceanfront condominium is a privately owned condo, located in the Acquilus II Condominium Building in north Jacksonville Beach, about 8 blocks north of the Jacksonville Beach Pier.


This condo features 3 bedrooms each with its own bath. The open living room, dining and kitchen offers expansive views out to the beach and ocean. A large balcony overlooking the ocean completes the serene setting this vacation home offers.


The master bedroom offers a queen size bed, and a large master bath complete with separate shower and Jacuzzi tub. The first guest bedroom also has a queen bed and the second guest bedroom has two queen size beds, so the condo will comfortable sleep 8 adults. All bedrooms have televisions with cable TV.


The condo kitchen is basically stocked with dinnerware, cookware, glasses, utensils, is also a washer and dryer in the condo in a separate laundry room. The balcony has an electric grill.


Wireless internet is available throughout the unit and is provided as a courtesy. Linens, towels and beach towels are also provided.


We personally meet you at the property upon check in and give you keys and an orientation. We are also available to assist you or answer any questions you may have during your stay.


Jacksonville Beach is a beach rich with history and full of activities for visitors of all ages. From the Acquilus building one can walk to shopping dining and various forms of entertainment. There are numerous playgrounds within a short drive and further out some of the best state parks in all of Florida. St Augustine is a short drive from Jacksonville Beach where there is a multitude of dining and shopping options along with all the tourists attractions St Augustine is famous for.


There is a vibrant social scene in the heart of Jacksonville Beach with concerts in several of the local clubs and presentations and festivals on the city lawn several times a year. Ask whatā€™s going on when you book and there is bound to be something. Whether itā€™s the Blue Angels at our annual Sea and Sky Spectacular or watching a movie at the Sea Walk Pavillion Jacksonville Beach is a happening place.

This is our second time staying in this rental, 9 months apart and instead of the owners investing just a little bit to improve some things mentioned in previous reviews all are the same or worse. Itā€™s truly unfortunate because this could be a spectacular rental. TIP - check under the sink to see if there is a pan to catch drips. Iā€™m not sure if we are just incredibly unlucky or what but on each stay we had to have a plumber come to fix flooding under the sink. It had to have been a known issue because someone placed a pan and container to catch water without addressing the problem We could not believe we came home to water coming out from under the sink AGAIN. Pros: - The view - 3 bedrooms with en suite for each - Two pools Cons: - Balcony furniture. DO NOT SIT ON THE CHAIRS. Seriouslyā€¦the rust will stain and the cushions needed to be replaced years ago - Pots and pans. Such an easy fix to replace with a inexpensive set on occasion - Slider to balcony from living roomā€¦.impossible to open without using two hands and then it was really, really difficult - Fix fan in the back room - Check AC We could not get it to work properly all week - Blinds in master bedroom do fall off at the slightest touch Some of these issues probably relate to this being a rental and get frequent use but a little TLC would go a long way We will not return to this rental. There are other places with the same spectacular view and we booked our next stay at a neighboring place.

Perfect condo for large family
Family of 7 comfortably stayed for a week. Love that the garage can hold our beach gear and the pool and beach is just out the door. Workout room with sauna is clean and equipment is still in good shape. Most units are owner occupied so the place is quiet and treated better than if it was all renters. Great environment to unplug and relax. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, but Jax beach has amazing seafood choices so we didnā€™t cook dinners in. Weā€™ve been staying here for a few years and plan to keep coming back.

Quiet Beachfront
A beautifully appointed home with 2 pools and easy access to a relatively quiet stretch of Jax Beach. Mellow Mushroom and SaltLife restaurants in easy walking distance. We'll be back!

The condo was big and nice. We enjoyed our stay. However, I wish the check in would have been easier. Key code would have been much easier than having to meet for a key and having a certain time to check in. Thankfully we had someone in Jacksonville to meet and get the key because we was arriving after 830 pm. The condo had everything we needed and was very clean.
