The pool had way too much chlorine in it. The pool was also chilly. The thing I’m most annoyed about is they charged my credit card TWICE. And my card, I was told by this Expedia app, wasn’t going to be charged and payment was to be made at time for checkout. I called to complain, as I didn’t even have money on my card. And I now have two nonsufficient fees on my card because I guess they ran it twice. Anyways I complained to Harry, and when I said why did you run my card? He said because how else are we going to get paid? I said payment was supposed to be due at time of check in, he said I know. He said but if we wait til then you might not come, I said if I don’t come, that’s when you charge the card for booking, and not cancelling, and not showing up. I was like you can’t just charge a card without permission.
Also the room we were in, the hotel staff or a customer had taken out the smoke detector, so that was also a safety hazard.
I would like my money back still for the two non sufficient charges when my card shouldn’t have been charged in first place.
Also, Harry stated well it’s paid now, I could refund your card, but then how are you going to pay. I said refund my card? I didn’t pay anything, well he insisted I did with no money on this card, so I did try to check in as he said my daughter would only need her ID as it’s already paid. Of course like I stated it wasn’t so when she tried to check in they said she still needed to pay.
