Cozy mountain cabin on 15 acre Animal Sanctuary

Our cozy Guest House cabin is located on Forever Young Sanctuary- a 15 acre slice of heaven in the North Georgia mountains.

We are a pet friendly, simple living homestead with an eclectic menagerie of animals including Alpacas and Donkeys.

The Guest House has a small fenced-in back yard, a back patio with a gas grill & a private fire pit stocked with dry wood.

The Forever Young Pavilion includes a 16 x 32 in-ground swimming pool, an eating area which seats 6, a new gas grill, large hot-tub and a spacious new bath house.

Located between Jasper & Ellijay on Burnt Mountain-- we are close to hiking, vineyards, destination mountain towns and festivals.

Rustic serenity & pup friendly
Spick and span, everything you need is there. Well fenced small yard for pets and small children. The pool is beautiful and the area is majestic mountain beautiful. Kevin and Karen are very helpful, informative, and super nice. I am planning to go back.

much needed time away in a peaceful environment
Very cute guest house, fully equipped, gorgeous butterfly and bee attractive flora, beautiful pool. Kevin and Karen were most welcoming (brownies and banana muffins!), and really stepped up when a storm took out our wifi and electricity, providing us with a generator and a window air conditioner to tide us over until things calmed down. Overall, a delightful experience - we hope to return soon.

We loved everything about the property! Well maintained with animals, pool and hottub, fire pit and nice outside area at the cabin. Kevin was amazing very friendly, helpful and a fabulous host. By the time we left we felt like we had made a new friend.

Beautiful area and awesome owners.
This was a great experience near Amicalola Falls. The cottage was adorable and had everything that we needed to be comfortable there. It was very clean with a lovely porch for viewing the backyard, Plants and flowers all around, not to mention adorable donkeys, and alpacas. Karen and Kevin were amazing and made sure that all of our needs were met. I would definitely come back for another experience in this beautiful part of Georgia. Amicalola Falls was absolutely magnificent and I must see.

This cottage is absolutely wonderful. Karen and Kevin are the best hosts ! The cottage is absolutely spotless and well stocked with anything you could need. The pool and the hot tub are fantastic. The location is great. I know that we will be visiting there again.

Sweet Mountain Getaway
This is a great little property. I have stayed at many mountain homes and while this does not have the 'wow' view factor off of the porch, you are quite close to the wow views, a stone's throw from the Burnt Mountain lookout and trails, and it is overall comfortable, pretty, and peaceful. It was very very clean, stocked with everything you need, and the kids room complete with light sabers, HP wands and robes was a huge hit for my 8 year old. We also loved the pool and hot tub! Karen and Kevin are wonderful and the animals are a cool touch. As stated on previous reviews, you are pretty close to the highway so keep in mind if travling with children, animals, or sensitive sleepers. My son and I would love to come back in the future.

It was a cute little house, closer to the highway than we thought, but the back deck was private with birds and their singing and a backdrop of huge, beautiful trees. We really appreciated the homemade brownies on the table when we arrived!

A True Sanctuary
We had a lovely time. The cabin and grounds exceeded our expectations. Kevin and Karen are what truly makes the place special. They are two of the kindest individuals we’ve ever met. Our boys loved the animals, pool, hot tub, and the “giant shower” in the bath house. We can’t wait to come back!

Fabulous location and surroundings
What a unique and comfortable place to enjoy the many things North Ga has to offer. The home is well designed and has everything you may need and more. The grounds are lovely and the animals they have add a delightful element you cannot find elsewhere. My daughter and I enjoyed 2 fun filled days exploring the area and relaxing in the home. We hope to be back soon and would definitely stay here again.

Just as Charming Second Time Around!
We stayed at this special place about four months ago and couldn't wait to return. It is just so clean and so very cozy. We love everything about the cottage, and then the owners and their pets are just as amazing. If you want to deal with kind, fun, and generous property owners then don't even hesitate. We are already planning on returning because it feels like home, and I know it is intentional that they want you to feel like that and to spread the joy of their beautiful surroundings and hearts.

Sanctuary in the woods
This little cabin what just what I was looking for! It has everything you will need and many lovely added touches. I haven't felt that at peace in a long time. Kevin and Karen were wonderful. And their property is very special and you can tell they love what they do. No doubt, if I had needed anything, they would have been right there to help. If I have an occasion to return to Jasper, I will definitely stay here again.

The hosts were so friendly, responsive and engaging. We like the rustic setting. The place was clean with nice plush towels, robes and linens. Way better than another place I stayed that labeled itself “luxury”. Even though it’s a nice country setting it was conveniently located to everything we needed to get to.

Rustic wooden beams, a crackling fireplace, and snug furnishings set the scene. It felt like a secret refuge, far away from the hustle and bustle. 🌲 Nature's Embrace Imagine waking up to the gentle symphony of birdsong and rustling leaves. The sanctuary's 15 acres are home to an eclectic menagerie—Alpacas, Donkeys, and more. Each morning, I sipped my coffee on the porch, watching the sun paint the mountains in hues of gold. 🌈 Animal Encounters: Jimmy, Buffet, and Flip-Flop—the Huacaya Alpacas—greeted me with curious eyes. Our cabin at Forever Young Sanctuary was perfect for our weekend visit. We enjoyed having a fire with the fire pit, wood and lighter all provided. The location on Burnt Mountain was so convenient between Jasper and the Gibbs Gardens at Ball Ground. We will return again!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Cabin, my children enjoyed the animals too. The cabin has everything you can possibly need. The Host were very friendly, kind and helpful. Best VRBO ever!!!
Let me start with the space itself, it was the cleanest vrbo we have ever stayed in. Amazing beds and everything you will need! Wifi is great, had no problem working from there. Kids loved the themed room with fun surprises. The space is great, private and quiet, but even though the space is great, it isn't even close to being the best part of the rental. Kevin, Karen, Jimmy, Buffett, Flip Flop, Sweet Pea, Peanut, Cora, Puffins, Muffin, Bindi, Bailey, Ginger, and Mary Ann are the main reasons why this rental is so great. My daughter's loved the animals. We hung out with Kevin around the big fire pit for a couple hours. Both Karen and Kevin are so accommodating and genuinely some of the nicest people I ever met. We will definitely be back!!! Thank y'all again!
