Just what we needed!
Our stay experience was a great one. We took our two younger children to NYC for their first time, and they loved it. Not only is NYC one of the most amazing experiences during the holiday season, but it has so much life to view and take in. Staying just outside NYC was a Brillant idea, one we have never chosen to do in times past. Staying in North Bergen, NJ got us out of the shuffle of the super business of the big city-but it also allowed us to have super easy access to the tunnel to cross over as well. Our room at Days Hotel was perfect. No bugs. No stains on the furniture or bedding and no dirty carpets! The lobby did have a strong scent of potpourri, but that's better that the smell of dirt or smoke any day! We felt safe and the front desk staff were pleasant. Housekeeping did a nice job as well. I should add that our room had two queen beds, a sofa bed couch, a chair, plenty of lighting, working ac/heat, toiletries, a beautiful electric fireplace, a clean bathroom, hot water (plenty enough for 4 people to shower morning and night), a mini fridge, working microwave, decent beds, soft pillows and just the right amount of coziness to feel like going to sleep is doable and safe! Parking was FREE, which was a plus for us! Parking spaces were plentiful and appreciated. We did drive our car verses using public transport as it just seemed to make more sense to us. Having the freedom to come and go was nice without the extra fees of parking! Overall, we would stay here again.

The room was very nice and clean and updated. Breakfast was good. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful but one of them was not. She seemed very irritated when asked simple questions about shuttles or storing luggage until check in. The conversation took less than 3 minutes but still seemed too long for her. And no, she wasn’t busy. There were no other people around. Made us feel like we needed to figure out the area on our own. And we did. But over all the place was nice.

Very easy access to get into NYC. Overall clean I didn’t have any issues. Walls were very thin and you can hear conversations and people walking in the hallways. Bed was very stiff and kept me awake. It’s a value hotel, you get what you pay for. Probably would not repeat.

Šiaip viskas normaliai kaip už tokią kainą. Patogu pasiekti Niujorką, prie Super 8 viešbučio atvažiuoja autobusiukas, kuris už 3.5$ nuveža iki Niujorko centro. Tiesiog atsistokite prie to viešbučio, šalia gatvės ir autobusiukas neužilgo atvažiuos, atsiskaitymas autobusiuke tik grynaisiais. Jei norit grįžti į viešbutį su autobusiuku tai jie nuolat renka žmones prie Microsoft pastato, netoli Port authority stoties. O šiaip viešbutyje pusryčiai nėra ypatingi, bet nėra ir blogi. Gauni kiaušinių, kiaušinienės, dešrelių, beigelių, tokio tepamo sūrio, blynų su klevų sirupu ar džemais (tik pasišildykit tuos blynus ten esančioj mikrobangų krosnelėj), užpilamų dribsnių, sulčių, aišku kavos ir arbatos, buvo dar ir bananų bei obuolių. Kambarys pakankamai tvarkingas. Apsilankymas susidėjo iš dviejų užsakymų, tai per pirmą užsakymą gavom nešildantį, sudegusį ir smirdintį kondicionierių. Pasikeitus kambariui paskui jau gavom veikiantį kondicionierių, bet jų tie kondicionieriai keistoki yra, kartais vis tiek šaltesnį orą pradeda pūsti, tai reikia jį išjungti ir vėl įjungti.

2nd time staying at this Hotel when visiting NYC. Free parking. 2different shuttle service to NYC . The drop off after coming back from NYC was a little scary, only because we didn’t study the map they give you upon check in. If you have bad knees pay the $20 pp each way service. They will drop you off at the hotel.
