#231 - Shore 2 Please (Oceanview)

Shore 2 Please - This cottage built in 2018 has 3 bedrooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens and 2 full size bathrooms. This cottage is pet friendly for one pet ($50 pet fee).  It has spectacular ocean and mountain views with a fire table and a gas barbeque on the huge balcony. There is also wood burning fire pit in the backyard which you have access to as well.  This will be a vacation you will never forget. You will want to return again and again.
The space
You have the option of booking the ENTIRE cottage (both A and B) which sleeps up to 10 or you can rent them separately - Upper and/or Lower.  Both units have their own separate entrances, as well as a an optional connecting door inside. Free Wi-Fi is included.
The upper level is a 2 bedroom suite with a large dining and living room, including a queen sofa bed and gas fireplace. The king size bedroom is upstairs on the same level as the kitchen and living room.  The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and is on the lower level (stairs to access).   A private ocean view balcony is equipped with a propane fire pit, gas BBQ and sitting area.
The lower level is a 1 bedroom suite with an open concept kitchen, dining and living room that has a sofa bed and electric fireplace. The south facing backyard patio has a gas BBQ, sitting area and wood burning fire pit (wood is available for purchase on Parkinson Road).
Other things to note
This area is popular for fishing, cycling and hiking. Surfing, paddle boarding and kayaking down the Gordon River is very popular. So many places to go hiking and exploring including the gorgeous Botanical Beach and the old growth of Avatar Grove. Take a 10 minute drive to Fairy and Lizard Lake and enjoy floating on an air mattress or a dip in the lake to cool off in the heat of the summer months. Check out the entrance to the West Coast and Juan d'Fuca Trails. Take a 5 minute stroll to the Pacific Gateway Marina and Bridgeman's Bistro open year round. Other amenities are the Port Renfrew Pub, the Coastal Kitchen (open seasonally) and Tomi's Cafe (great coffee, breakfast and lunch) at the foot of Baird Road. Food trucks are also in the community during summer months.

Beautiful setting for family reunion
Perfect location for a family gathering. Loved being able to use 2 kitchens (!!) for all the food we brought - we had wonderful family meals. We were lucky to have views of both mystical fog-shrouded trees and also blue-sky-sunshine and sparkling water during the course of our stay. Enjoyed sitting on the deck by the firepit in the evenings. We loved exploring the area around Port Renfrew. Thank you for providing a great home base!

Beautiful property with all you need for a great stay in Port Renfew. We had a larger group with children and adults and the place was well suited for both. There were a couple of extra fees (extra people, pet fee) that weren't advertised in the listing. Reasonable costs, but would have been good to know them upfront. Overall a really good stay and I would highly recommend the space.

Peaceful Getaway
Lynda’s place is easy to find, peaceful and quiet. Beautiful view from the balcony. The place is clean, beautiful and comfortable. Awesome backyard area for the kids to play. Close to everything you want to explore in Port Renfrew. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed a family weekend getaway at this property. Lynda was easy to communicate with. Cottage was cozy and clean, pleasant surprise was that the bedding seemed almost brand new. Kitchen was well stocked with the basics. Would definitely recommend.
