Live at the treetops - day and starry night views from the great room windows and the covered entry patio. This spacious cabin is well-appointed with books, TV, Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace. Cooks dream of a kitchen will delight your inner chef. Relax and enjoy the cozy fireplace (with provided wood) on cooler evenings and the spacious deck during warmer weather.

Located in the Pine Hills neighborhood of Julian southwest of town. The oak and pine trees create a serene ambiance, while the quiet streets provide ample strolling opportunities and year-round access.

Note: This cabin is over the garage (the garage itself is not available to guests) and is accessed up 20 low steps to the front door. Owner may occasionally stay in garage apartment (which is not accessible to rental space) when working on the property. If staying there, the owner will assure the guestā€™s privacy.

Wonderful weekend away in the woods!
Itā€™s always nice to getaway from the city. The drive through the winding hills and the small towns was idyllic Americana. So many opportunities to try the apple cider or talk with local farmers. The cabin is tucked into the hills in a sparsely populated wooden hillside. Peace, tranquility, and nature surrounding you as you gaze from the porch and drink some coffee. Youā€™ll hear turkeys, woodpeckers, and other various woodland creatures stirring through the scenery. The turkeys and peacocks spend the dark hours in the trees around the cabin. So close to the window, it feels like you can almost touch them. Bbq, fire pit, or just sit on a log and take in your escape. Inside youā€™ll find a forest cabin vibe with quilts, wooden decor, and comfort all day long. This cabin boasts a large kitchen and dining table with plenty of appliances and cookware to suit your culinary needs. I was a huge fan of the stained glass window in the bathroom. It really brought a level of class and elegance to the already stunning property. Inside the bedroom youā€™ll find a very comfortable bed (not too soft and not too firm) that Goldilocks would sleep soundly in. Donā€™t worry about entertainment, they got a tv with plenty of movie choices for all genres and ages. Overall, if you are looking for a woodland weekend away, or longer, book this now. Bonus..pet friendly!! We will definitely come back again and again.

Terrible experience!,
The drive was so steep it tore a hole in my tire trying to leave. It was only way out and was so steep I was not able to climb to road to walk. Steps to apartment was 20 wooden steps, I just had knee replacement and this was not something I could do and I had small dog that had to go out during the day. Owner told me just to stay in. I had to leave the second day. Asked the owner to work with me because I paid up front for 31 days and she refused saying it was my choice to leave. DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE !!! Worst experience I have ever had.

Peaceful place for 2 people and dogs. We really enjoyed bird watching and listening to turkeys roosting in trees and woodpeckers nearby. Comfortable bed. The internet was a bit slow/sporadic-fine for a short stay, but difficult for remote work. Owner was very responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns.
