Royal Kahana 907 is located on the northwest side of the building which is the quiet side of the building that offers both sun and shade onto the lanai. With the opposite side of the building there is no escaping the sun or the sound coming up from the pool area. A recent guest review described the condo as a 5 Star for the cost of a 3. Be assured the comfort of a home waits your stay at our beautifully completely renovated, exceptionally clean, central air conditioned one bedroom, one bath oceanfront condo. A perfect choice for honeymooners, couples or small families seeking luxury accommodations for that perfect tropical getaway. Relax on the private lanai overlooking the ocean and the island of Molokai across the ocean channel. Hear the ocean waves break against the shoreline. Watch the sea turtles, dolphins and humpbacks (November through April) at play. Kite boarders, sail boarders, paddle boarders and surfers commonly gather in the bay fronting the resort. The perfect location—the Royal Kahana is a welcome relief from the big resort hotels.
We were mostly pleased with this property. Certainly the view from the lanai was spectacular. The bedding and all furnishings were lovely and very comfortable. The clever walk-through closet allowed ample storage for hanging clothes and allows for privacy in dressing and accessing the bathroom. As a party of 3 we would have appreciated more shelf or drawer storage area in the living room, although there was ample drawer space to share in the bedroom. The kitchen was extremely well supplied for all of our—or anyone’s—needs. Some of the kitchen cupboards were locked. We would have appreciated an extra cupboard for storage of groceries. The owners were extremely helpful with information, and even had the cleaning crew alerted to look for a lost item we noticed after checking out. That was very much appreciated. We highly recommend this rental property.

We loved our stay at Royal Kahana 907! Everything was pretty much as stated in the other reviews! Owners were very responsive and easy to work with from start to finish, making up for whatever lacked. If being honest, the cleaning could have been a little better but honestly the condo being so well stocked made up for it- they really thought of everything! We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Loved this condo for its ocean view and sound of the surf. Quiet location away from the road with a really well equipped kitchen and walking access to a lovely happy hour restaurant on the beach at an adjacent hotel. Lanai is shady all day making it cool in the condo without need for air conditioning.Would definitely come again!W except at night

A perfect week for us in Maui
My husband and I have stayed at the Royal Kahana 3 previous times in different condos each time and at different times in the year. We both agreed that this one bedroom was the best one yet. The condo was clean, had decent upgrades and appliances. The kitchen had everything needed to stay the week and just buy our groceries. The closet had chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and coolers for our beach time. The real perk here was the comfortable bed. It was unexpected that the bed would be as comfortable as our own at home and it really makes a difference when you're staying somewhere else. David and Nancy checked in with us before, during and at the end of our stay. We loved our stay for the week and will definitely plan to stay here again.

TEN OUT OF TEN!
Everything was absolutely perfect during our 9 night stay. The condo has obviously gone through a high-end renovation. Absolutely beautiful custom kitchen with plenty of storage. And it was fully stocked with all necessary kitchenware, as well as spices, garbage bags, paper towels, dish soap, etc. The full sized washer and dryer were new, and extremely efficient. There was even laundry soap available. The bathroom was also beautifully renovated with the same granite top as in the kitchen. Plush and comfortable carpet in the living room and bedroom. We were impressed with the fancy bamboo/wicker (?) curtains in the bedroom and living room. And the furniture throughout the entire condo was incredibly upscale and spectacular! High class, Hawaiian style furniture you would expect in upscale, ritzy homes. The lanai (private balcony) had a million dollar view. During many early mornings, we saw rainbows in the distance, and tons of turtles swimming in the water late afternoons. The entire building was extremely well-taken care of, friendly folks, serene and super clean. Concierge staff always greeted us with warm “aloha’s”. We appreciated the complementary, filtered water cooler in the lobby. The location of the property was perfect. Within less than 10 minutes, we were at the very best restaurants and shopping, and secluded and beautiful beaches. We recommend the Cane & Canue, as well as The Banyan Tree restaurants. Home away from home
I have never seen the ocean, let alone fly in a plane so I started researching Maui years ago. Comparing so many other places to stay, even on other websites, this place came at the top of the list with price, view, accommodations, location, etc. You truly feel like you are house siting for someone! You won’t need to buy pesky things like dish soap, seasonings, sunscreen, rent coolers or beach chairs, they have everything there. On top of that, the view!! You can see turtles from the lanai along with the sunset every night. We felt so comfortable there & we already miss it so much. I hope the owners are proud of this place! You can tell they put so much love and thought into this condo. Mahalo for the greatest experience!

Great little respite!
Easy check in parking is like 18 bucks a night now so be ready. Condo had amazing view and literally everything you could need. Kitchen well equipped and beach umbrella was a must. I am partial to the kahana area and this one didnt disappoint. Unless you have small children it might be a bit tight for 4, but it was perfect for us. Ive been lots of times to this area and would do this one again. Bedroom being ocean front was important to me, and even in september you get a great wind tunnel through the condo so we really never used the air. The doors all had holders on them ro keep them open. Its the little things....

Perfect Getaway
We only have nice things to say about our stay at David and Nancy's condo. The condo was cozy and had an updated kitchen . We were very comfortable in every room. We had spectacular views and were close enough to the ocean to be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the waves at night. I could spot sea turtles from our lanai daily and rainbows after a rain. Even though we booked through Vrbo, the staff at the condo were incredibly nice and helpful. There was a concierge on the property that helped us daily. The pool was fantastic and the cute food truck by the pool was super fun. The beach was beautiful and great for snorkeling. We will definitely try and stay there again for our next visit.

Our Anniversary celebration
We were so excited to return to Maui after 35 years. Covid cancelled our 40 Anniversary trip and now at 45 years we were so excited to visit Hawaii. The apartment was perfect. Everything was just as listed. We had mornings on the balcony watching turtles and seeing the beautiful ocean. We had easy access to everything we needed ( North Shore, Ka’anapali, beaches, restaurants). Our host was extremely helpful and we would recommend their home to anyone planning a stay in Kahana. 10/10 Beautiful Condo @ Royal Kahana
The condo was outstanding and had everything we could want, especially in the kitchen since we eat in most of the time. The BBQ area near the pool was spotless and cleaned everyday. We especially enjoyed the binder that was in the unit with instructions on how everything worked and different attractions in the area. I really appreciated the special extra items: beach items, extra linens, extra towels and extra pillows. I enjoyed waking up and sitting on the lanai with my morning coffee and watching the waves and turtles swim by. Mahalo -- David and Nancy !

Magnificent
This is truly a magical place. We arrived 3 days prior to the fires and we had to leave for safety reasons. However, The listing is accurate in every detail. Beautiful views, lots of space, plenty of kitchen supplies, laundry, beach towels, ect. Just bring shower supplies. You will need those. A/C works great, but we enjoyed turning it off and enjoying the breeze and ocean sounds of opening the windows. Truly magical. There are great local shops and small grocery stores within walking and larger ones a short drive away. The ground are well managed and offer a great pool, clean and cut lawns and gardens. Sea turtles can be seen from deck and many other possible sites. We even saw dolphins running with a catamaran. Owner always was in contact when needed and provided great amount of information upon arrival. They were a joy and blessing to work with. I am sure I am overlooking something, but this was a great experience (minus the fire tragedy) and we would absolutely look to reboot and revisit again. Hopefully Maui and it’s people will recover and rebuild quickly.

Great stay. View was fantastic of the sunsets, ocean, boats, and turtles. The condo itself was very clean, the cooking utensils, pots, pans, you name it they were of great quality. The bed and furnishings were comfortable. Dishwasher, laundry washer and dryer, stove, microwave, and refrigerator all very nice. David provided lots of information about the local area. Restaurant, snorkeling, hiking and beach going ideas. Everything was fantastic and we had zero complaints. We would stay there again for sure. 9th floor was very quiet and perfect to just relax and enjoy.

Awesome stay at this Condo
Our vacation was really great in Maui. We were there this week and stayed at David and Nancy’s condo. Lovely place, very clean with all amenities. Right before the trip David sent a bunch of information which was very useful and also answered promptly for any questions or queries. Their place is a true ocean view. Every morning we had breakfast on the patio overlooking the ocean and turtles were swimming in it. This is a lovely place for a small family. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will ever need to cook your meals. It even has all the small appliances like rice cooker, blender etc. My family loved this place as well. The whole facility is well kept. Their pool is heated so nice to soak up at night after you swam in the ocean. We all had a great time in Maui. Thanks to the lovely hosts. If we ever come back I will look up for David’s place again.

THIS is where you want to stay
I don't take the time to write reviews, but I feel I need to because Dave and Nancy's condo is absolutely amazing! My wife and I spent a wonderful week in this condo and it has literally everything you need. We have learned over many trips to Hawaii the need to buy garbage bags, toilet paper, laundry soap and other items that you need during your stay in Hawaii. You don't need any of that here! The home is fully stocked with items to cook with, wash your clothes and they even have beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and body boards to take to the beach. The time and money to rent all these items for a week is just another expenditure you don't have. The condo is maybe 5-10 minutes to the best beaches and snorkeling on Maui. It's important to note, this unit has AC. Don't be fooled by the listings with no AC and claim the "ocean breeze" is enough to cool the place down. We have tried that before and it doesn't work (especially during the summer months.) I didn't see it in the ad, but FYI parking is $15/day at the property. Dave is an amazing host and I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you Dave and Nancy, we will be back! Mahalo, Mike and Julie

Clean and perfectly stocked condo.
The condo was a pleasant surprise. It is immaculate and tastefully decorated. We were able to eat 1/3 of our meals at the condo. All the equipment we needed for the beach and excursions is provided. The views/sunsets from the balcony are extraordinary. We plan on returning in the future.

Lovely Relaxing Stay
We stayed 8 days at this property & enjoyed our stay. There was everything you would need & more available. Although Kahana is slightly out from the main tourist area it was only a short & inexpensive bus ride to these areas if you wanted to go, this also made for a nice quite relaxing stay. The bus stopped outside the resort & just across the road is a convenience store & 3 restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. The beach has been washed away in front of the resort but it is easy to get down to the beach but the pool area is also great to spend time at. We did have a small maintenance issue but on contacting David & Nancy they very quickly got this rectified for us which was great. We loved our time sitting on the lanai watching the turtles swimming & the sun setting. We hope to return here some day.
